  1. Problem guys, I've got a 2010 Fabia Vrs and yesterday as I came to a stop after a while of driving my car so it was fully warmed up. The idle revs were going up and down for no reason as I was not touching the accelerator, it goes from normal idle around 750? To around 1100 sometimes! I read on the forum about an Octavia doing the same and someone said the PCV valve? The engine management light is on but I'm in Amsterdam for the weekend it happened just before i was going home to go to the airport so not had time to check what it could be. Thanks Ryan
  2. Hi mate, obviously I've missed out on this but do you think you will be doing another as I fancy one? Cheers Ryan
  3. Right guys the squeal is sorted it was a slight boost leak, had the front bumper off yesterday and one of the clamps was not sat quite right. Very happy now it's sorted Ryan
  4. I'll take it! Let me know how much postage is. I'll pm you my address
  5. I don't have a boost gauge either to find out whether boost is dropping when the noise comes in. Ryan
  6. The car goes absolutely fine with no fault codes but it is just an awful sounding noise tbh, sounds like something's wrong. Hopefully getting it on the roller within the next couple of weeks so will defo let you guys know.. And no it's a custom remap from a guy around West Yorkshire. I have the iridium BKR7EIX spark plugs Ryan
  7. The quality is not the best and I am recording from inside the cab but it does sound a lot worse when your hear it for yourself. Ryan
  8. No it definitely wasn't there before and it doesn't sound like anything that could come from the gearbox but I could be wrong. Ryan
  9. I tried a couple of videos earlier but sound was appalling so after work I'll go try for you guys. It defo sounds like it's coming from the front and someone has mentioned that the diverter valve may be getting stuck? So I was thinking of uprating to the forge one but didn't really want to spend £200 if it's not needed. Ryan
  10. Hi guys, recently I've done a lot of mods to my car like 3" downpipe and sports cat and also an fmic then had the car remapped to stage 2, not had the car on the rollers yet as recently it has developed a squeal like air escaping from a very tight spot, I know it's not the downpipe as i have had it in the garage today for some slight changes. The squeal is only there when I really put the foot down in low gears and in high rpm or when I'm using the torque down low in the high gears. I read on here that the supercharger drive from the water pump can have a slight squeal but I don't think its that as it can happen up at 4k+ rpm and it can also last quite a long time, has anyone had any experience with this before? A friend suggested a boost leak but the car pulls like never before. Ryan
  11. Wanting to change to the new black and chrome badges, ordered the back and wheel centre caps but not sure on the part number for me to order the front one. Any ideas guys? At work ATM so haven't time to search so if this has been discussed before sorry Thanks Ryan
  12. Hi guys, I don't know if this is the right place to be posting this but I bought myself a pioneer AVIC -F930BT to fit in my Skoda Fabia Vrs 2010 Off of a shop on eBay, he sent everything needed with it to use my steering wheel controls but as of yet they still do not work, he really seems to be dragging his feet on the issue. I've been in contact with another company and they say I need the wiring harness CTSSK003 and the plug in CT-PIO. Could anyone confirm this for me please? Thanks Ryan
  13. Bought a set of used 312mm brake calipers, carriers, discs and pads for a great price from sesachc, the guy was so pleasant to deal with and always kept me in the loop. Great dealing with this guy. Ryan
