Cheers bud and your chances of spotting it will be slim as it rarely ventures out as I'm in my van all week so it gets occasional weekend use and that's all,it's another drive ornament like the octy was lol

Like where it's going shortened plate recess will look good too.

Alright Si, Not really been up to much with it really, just enjoying it Had it serviced a few months back and it sailed through it mot without any advisories which was good Fitted some larger spacers and illuminated sill plates and that's about it Here's a few pics Going to hopefully get the console and seat backs painted over winter.

Well the tires turned up yesterday so got the wife to drop the tires and wheels off with my mate and he put them on and balanced them up for me and then put them on the car after work. So took it up the road and got a couple of pics Rears ended up been slightly stretched which wasn't the plan but I've bought them now so they will have to do,need to space them a bit too.

So on Thursday I received my wheel centres back from my mate, was a bit of a shock to see him at the front door with them in his hands as I half expected him to take weeks to do them lol Here's the centres after receiving them So as I had them back I knew that I had to get cracking at the weekend so had to clean up 160 bolts for the rims using a little wire brush attachment for the dremmel which was a tedious task lol then had to sand out some kerbing marks left on the lips by the missus and then flat and re polish the lips, didn't go to town on them as I'm not really into polishing and after the long job of cleaning the bolts then I was losing interest so gave them a light flat ting and then just stuck a polishing head in the drill and whacked on loads of autosol and got them buffed up,they have come out ok for me,there still marked and pitted but it's no show car, just wanted to get them built up Here they are Just need to order some tires now and get them on the car then I can see how they sit and measure up for spacers

Thanks kentphil1,it was sad to let it go but I knew deep down that it would never end up back on the road and would just sit on the garden deteriorating over time, glad you like the new project too Cheers Rob,I thought it would be with me forever too and if I'd never gone down the stripped out interior route then it could of still been in use today as it was only the fact of having no back seat etc that made it impractical so just always had to use the wife's car instead and it was strange watching it drive away on a trailer and knowing it would never return :( Cheers for the kind comments and enthusiasm for my build over the years Si,it's been appreciated
