I'll keep that in mind. Thanks

So this time last year I bought a fabia Vrs and insured it through Adrian Flux. The cost was £1950 for the year. Bit pricey but they did say I am a 'young driver (19) with a faster car' but I took out the insurance as it was the cheapest. Now a year on (and stupidly 3 points heavier!) it's up for renewal. So after half an hour on the phone to Adrian Flux the gave me there best price of £780 for the year. Now I was expecting it to be a bit cheaper than the last but £1200 less is ridiculous! Needless to say im happy with it! Can't see why it's dropped so much but who would argue! Made sure everything was correct and declared so the deals done. Thought I'd share to other drivers because this is my third year with them and they have been by far the cheapest and have offered the best service. Absolute mintness. Lewis

My 07 VRS is on 170k and I haven't had any issues with mine at all. The stone chips and light scratches (it is black) are the only problems but can't really moan with the mileage. I've recently got some mk4 golf recaros because my seats ended up like yours and it makes a massive difference. I don't think I'll ever get rid of mine because it's worth more to me than I would ever get for it, but I don't have 25k to spash! So buy yourself a new car and keep the fabia because you'll miss it!

I ALWAYS only get 350 miles to a full tank! And only ever average about 45mpg and I'm not really a fast driver. My car is broke.

Darkside egr delete fitted today to BLT.

Anti-freeze is only harmful to cats, so don't let your engine bay attract any pussy. -
VRS tyres for alloys ...advice please
LewisVRS replied to yannik's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
The difference is the tyres speed rating. Not sure what each one is but they shouldn't matter unless you drive at 250mph everywhere. -

I work as a technician on police vehicles and have always wondered why officers put 50 psi in each tyre NO MATTER WHAT VEHICLE when it comes in for a service and they're checked. Rattles my cage. And also why do they remove the weapons when an ARV comes in? We would have so much fun.

I brought my fabia with 144,000 on the clock last August and it's now done 158,000. Just a brake light bulb so far

Paid £12.50 from euro car parts for 1 with trade discount. Still never seen fog though.

I don't take much notice of MPG really, just see how many miles to a tank I get each week. Works for me
