  1. I had the same issue. iPhone 5s after install of ios8. Tried numerous resets of phone, really pairing and resetting the bolero nothing worked. What worked for me was resetting the network settings. Settings>general>reset>reset network settings. I now have full functionality again. Hope that helps
  2. I have done it, it is not easy but not hard. You need to remove the black plate underneath the bulb, these easily pop off using the small L shaped metal tool in the boot. Once off you need to remove bulbs but before this each bulb has a small plastic clip that pushes over the back of the bulb this pulls off, the bulb can then be twisted off like normal I found two of the bulbs very tight and destroyed my arms removing them. Once I got the standard bulbs out I was ready to put the LED bulbs in. From ready on the forum I got H18 18 LED bulbs x 4 ( cost of £17 a pair) When I compared my new bulbs to these one of the retaining lugs was to big and had to be trimmed with some pliers, pretty easy to do and very tight fitting after. The car needed to be coded with vcds which I did first following the instructions in the sticky thread. They do look a million times better, I am sure someone will begin to moan about "yellow light is better than white for fog blah blah blah" But I don't care and it does look a million times better. I had corner fogs enabled before I got the LEDs and disabled it because it looked horrible with the yellow light of the fogs. Below is the car with the LEd fogs
  3. Direct fit to all the interior bulbs, came from Hong Kong quickly took 11 days and cheap.

  5. Don't have the new one got the old style with the jumpers but run on 4+1 and never had any issue, amazing bit of kit and really does transform the car. Best item I have bought for the car hands down.
  6. I activated mine with vcds and used the settings xpower suggested on the high beam assist thread and it works perfectly. Never had to manually override even with very old cars with poor head lighting. I wouldn't pay £300 for it though.

  8. I got a extension cable for my iPod and ran it under the dash to the glovebox. I just leave my iPod in there the whole time. I did a post on with a while ago with some links of the extension I used.
  9. Carfile for me. £1500 saving over dealer. Organised part x which was guaranteed and only 2 miles from where I collected VRS from and given a lift there by the part x employee. Very helpful and made the who process very easy
  10. Seen 2 other VRS in Watford and Barnet area in 6 months, seen about 4 standard mk3s in same time frame
  11. Just ordered one (tuning box not pedal box), hoping for delivery tomorrow, very excited!!

  13. Don't know how but I managed I clear the fault and it hasn't come back. Think it's time to stop experimenting with VCDS
  14. All zeros in byte 6 so nothing hidden nothing else ticked.
  15. Hello All, So I have the below error on my Octavia VRS MkIII, i have cleared the code on numerous occasions however it always comes back. The only change I made was on 55-Headlight Range byte 6, i changed 00 static cornering light inactive/not installed to 04 static cornering light according to SAE J582. Original long coding: 03DE02003F000000 Coding after change: 03DE02003F000400 Once this was changed i got the warning message on the dash so changed the byte back to 00 static cornering light inactive/ no installed and cleared the fault. The fault just comes back straight away. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
