To me really artificial is in case of electric cars where indeed the sound is fully artificially generated.

Does it mean that you cannot drive in sport mode without sound generator? That wouldn't be nice as there is more behind the sport mode than just a different sound coming from the engine. Also I would like to ask how is noisy the engine is inside the car when sport mode if off. Is it like driving a "standard" Octy?

VRS Leather and Colour Maxi-dot

Question is if the leather quality is really so bad or the pics are coming from some test cars. I cannot imagine that seat look like s..t with such a small mileage. Why Skoda is not giving option alcantara + leather which seems elegant and practical. -

Here is the picture of leather upholstery: http://img.auto.cz/auto/base/2013-37/teskocrs14_5232d4c222a33.jpg And the the full gallery: http://www.auto.cz/test-skoda-octavia-combi-rs-rodinny-skorosportak-76347/foto?foto=0&galerie=5232d4c6d07b3 I wish there was an option with alcantara + leather. To me it seems that the leather quality is not the best :( -
I know that in the UK ACC limitation is not a problem (at least in theory) But in Germany this limitation is causing actually the whole thing to me useless  I have just ordered a car with ACC (although my dealer has not yet contacted with me regarding the problems mentioned with lead time), and if I cannot really set this above 160 km/h then definitely I would go for standard cruise control.

Does anyone know how the ACC works if the limit speed 160km/h is exceeded? The manual says that then the adaptive cruise control is not working. But I wonder what if I would like just to set let say 180 km/h, even if adaptive cruise control is not working – would it keep 180km/h and the only difference then would be that the speed is not adapting? Driving a lot on German motorways this would be inconvenient if I cannot set speed above 160 km/h. Then the cheaper option, Cruise control system (CCS), would be much better to me. Although not adaptive I can set speed above the ACC limit and resume at any time after manual slow down.
