So really this is something the VRS should've had from the beginning! I find that rather annoying.

Hey there guys. I went to the Goodwood Festival of Speed yesterday. Had an amazing day until I became annoyed at the Skoda stand and noticed their Octavia VRS had a flat bottomed steering wheel! I ask one of the members of staff if this was just for the demo car and he said that this was on all new models! I'm hoping I can order one for my car! Has anyone got a flat bottomed steering wheel or a normal round one? I received my car last December.

I had an issue where the lights wouldn't work when the vehicle was in motion. Turns out a wire was bent and a new one has been ordered from the factory! Car goes in next week.

A couple of mine and another member as we compared cars and watched the stealth bombers arrive at Fairford yesterday.

Check you infotainment system. You should have the ability to switch the lights over within the car. I can on my VRS.

The diesel is sublime on my VRS estate. Pulls incredibly and I'm in the high 40's for mpg. I would've considered the petrol but the higher running costs and thought of having an accident and bursting into flames put me off lol

I'm dusting my DSLR today and with the sunny weather I'm gonna take full advantage of it!!! Pics coming soon

I apologise. I didn't mean to "hijack" your thread. Just thought I'd share my pics on here instead of opening a brand new one and it having a shelf life of a day or two. Least the good Octavia owners are still commenting :-)

Thanks. I didn't want the self park or radar guided CC. I'm also getting limousine tints on the rear windows and a gloss bumper guards to protect from jumping dogs :-) Pics will be available soon when it's complete.
