  1. My dad managed to get his one when it was in for the 1941 upgrade. His is a 21 plate wagon.
  2. My dads just had 1941 installed from 1896 which was endless restarting too. They also flashed the reversing camera to stop it flickering, fingers crossed because he has had enough of it.
  3. Anyone know what the best rear estate wiper model number is?
  4. I think this means you have turned on Wi-Fi and the car is trying to connect to your phone to use the internet. Either that or you have turned off the E-sim which is the SIM card the card uses for the internet to do things like updates. Connect a mobile device to the Infotainment hotspot Turn on the Infotainment’s WLAN hotspot in the menu item Wi-Fi Infotainment system as hotspot Use as hotspot. Turn on the Wi-Fi on the mobile device. In the list of available Wi-Fi devices, look for Infotainment Wi-Fi. The name of the Infotainment is taken from the menu item Wi-Fi Infotainment system as hotspot Network name:. Select the Infotainment hotspot and enter the required password. The password for connecting to the Infotainment hotspot is taken from the menu item Wi-Fi Infotainment system as hotspot Password:. Confirm the connection. Connect Infotainment to the mobile device hotspot Turn on the Infotainment’s Wi-Fi unit in the menu item Wi-Fi WLAN: Search for WLAN switch on Select the desired hotspot in the list of available hotspots. Enter the password for connecting to mobile devices. Infotainment stores passwords for previously connected hotspots.
  5. Glad I could help, sometimes the obvious is not so obvious.
  6. What happens when you press the power button next to the passenger temp? Have you tried resetting by pressing and holding for 10seconds.
  7. Surely it’s just condensation in the cold from water in the exhaust.
  8. That’s interesting, seems pointless paying then, when I was on the Skoda website I found the download for the maps and entered the vin and it presented a 26gb download, it did talk about sd card but figured it must mean usb drive.
  9. Does traffic work on the sat nav if I don't pay for Skoda connect?
  10. Is Skoda connect worth paying for my 1 year is coming to an end, do I get no traffic data if I dont subscribe?
  11. The ACC on the VRS 245 also sinks the pedal as it brakes, really weird the first time it did it.
  12. My list of issues Skoda software glitches Climate Sync button never remembers Bluetooth disconnects occasionally only way to fix is turn Bluetooth off and on again in the car settings not the phone settings makes no difference (iPhone 8 latest iOS 14.7) CarPlay on. Drive mode - never remembers which one it was left in (mk3 always remembered this is a backwards step) Voice chat randomly seems to appear Rear wiper randomly wipes even when switch is not on with the automatic wiping turned on. Turning off automatic wiping in the rain. Head lights on automatic head light assist, seems to try and dim road signs that are brightly lit by the high beams. Which then confuses the lights and dazzles on coming traffic. Frequently says I am driving on the right, when I switch it back to the left seems to change it back the right. This is also demonstrated by the ACC not willing to overtake cars on the left even though it should be fine and perfectly legal too. Pop pop noise still exists even though it’s supposedly fixed.
  13. Weird it certainly seems to idle at 1000 apart from a) on the choke first thing, b) in DSG sport, c) neutral seems to go down to 800, just a bit random. Seems chugging away unnecessarily. I suppose it should be stopped started but don’t use that it just kills the battery long term.
  14. Does everyone else’s idle at 1000rpm when idling seems high to me? I note like the Golf R it idles higher when in Sport mode, but 1000 when normal seems too high. Oh mk4 2.0 petrol 245VRS.
