  1. Got sorted, it was a gas refill that was required...All working fine now...👌
  2. Hi, similar problem with my air-conditioning on a 2016 reg, blowing out hot air instead of cold. A/C button on but nothing. Tried the reset, no luck. Did anyone get a solution to your problems listed on this topic? Much appreciated.. thanks. 👍
  3. Hi, I ended up taking the handle off, by taking the key locking barrel out (which is easy enough to do, there are some u-tube videos on line that show this) and from there I discovered that the metal wires that the plastic handle attaches too for releasing the lock had disconnected itself. I applied a bit of grease, and re-connected it. all working fine again. It was a problem that occurred in the freezing type weather) It happened once again since I posted this first in 2016, but carried out the same job and fine again. regards N.P
  4. Just encountered this problem today, 11 different bulbs to be checked, but they all fine. Is there much work in removing the fuse panel under the bonnet? 2009 green line Superb. Regards
  5. Enjoy them seats is right, I have cloth seats and would love them to be all leather, anyone ideas for leather seat covers
  6. Yes, only within the last 4 weeks I had one of those "error all show ups" looks like the computer is running a check or telling us the battery life is coming to an end. hazard lights went all funny too as if they were missing a bulb. I stopped the car, restarted after 5 min and all was ok again.
  7. Worth trying a reset of the car, Take off the positive lead of the car battery under the hood for about a minute, reconnect and start her up. You will get a few lights on the dash, but all you do is drive for about 2 or 300 yards and turn the steering wheel left and right for half turn then all light will go out. worth a try.
  8. Hi yes Danny 57, its the External door handle, and agreed with the interim of opening the windows to open the door from the inside. model is a 2009 greenline superb. Understand what you mean Superb TWM, the cable could need replacing, when the external door handle is pulled out it stays out too, so hence what ever is meant to open the latch has failed and is not pulling back in the handle also. I guess its a visual inspection first by pulling off the door cart and see from there, thanks for the replies. N.P
  9. Hi all My drivers door handle has stopped opening the said door. The handle will pull out ok but will not release the lock, hence having to climb in the passenger side an open the door from the inside. Problem occurred last week with a few nights of heavy frost. Oil did not sort the problem. Any ideas on quick fix or am l looking at new handle, lock etc Regards N.P
  10. Yes agreed. Def broken wire some where, when the CCDs won't communicate with the rear door module it almost certain to be a broken wire. The drivers door module is the parent controller for the locking system with the others being the slaves. Could be something with the drivers one
  11. Thanks Gents for all the replies, plenty of options there. cheers
  12. Anyone suggestions for set of flaps for 2009 greenline superb II ? had a few universal flexible rubber ones but they keep breaking of as they hit ramps etc due to the greenline being low to the ground. thanks
  13. Hi all Air Con stopped working last Tuesday, had the gas checked and its fine no problems there, guys reckons its a new compressor that is required (said hell fit for €310 all in), I'm a bit weary as I did read somewhere that it might be a regulator valve that's causing the prob. green light does appear when you turn on the A/C but no cold air or noise out of the engine. Also there has been a bad odour coming from the vents in recent weeks prior to it stopping, I changed the pollen filter and made a bit of a difference. I would appreciate assistance on this, regards N.P
  14. There is a post in the technical guide section on a wiring fix to the twin door, this could solve your problem. broken wire in the loom where the sedan hinges with the glass part of the hatch back window, no power to your wing motors.
  15. You could go with a Parrot CK3100 either, you will have your phone on hands free
