  1. Hi guys, i’ve purchase and fitted these bulbs (chose them based on an old 2012 thread about them) and I still have the blown bulb warning on dash. i’m driving a 61 plate mk2 vrs if that makes any difference. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F170638161738 Does anyone have any ideas please?
  2. Please excuse grammer and spelling, cant figure out how to edit on this app thingy :(
  3. Ladies and Gents, please could I have your help? It's my Dads birthday in a couple of weeks and I know he's desperate for a tow bar. Now I no clue when it comes to towing as I cant even tow on my licence! He has a Superb mk2, 13 plate, estate. I've had a look on witter's we site and they are like £500-600 i think... He would want to be towing a caravan under 5 years old. Would a fixed flange type be best? I dont know if this link will work, but is okay? http://www.towsure.com/bundle/Skoda_Superb_MkII_Estate_10-_Fixed_Flange_Towbar With an extended towball? I just have no idea about the electrics? Looking forward to your help, thanms in advance
  4. Got some issues with the octavia I bought in Jan... here's the thread... I await the outcome http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/307066-octavia-vrs-parking-sensors-theyre-too-good-fault/#entry3669401
  5. Afternoon all, So I took my VRS into the skoda garage this morning for them to look at. The problem I'm having is that my parking sensors pick up "something" when there's nothing around me. It was so bad on the drive the other week my car sounded like a police siren as it was saying i was in the critical zone at the front and rear so the bleeping was all over the place! When I spoke to the chap at skoda he said "yea.. is it a vrs?", well yes... "oh... we've had a few of these come back... skoda say they are just too advance and they can even pick up mist"... in my mind, that;s a fault, beeping away when i'm trying to park does not help me at all.. just makes me a nervous wreck! I wonder what the story will be when I pick it up later. I've had the car from Jab 4th and so farthe other issues are: 1) the supaguard covering is missed from a panel 2) the fuel cap popping in thingy is broke 3) the whole light options cluster came entirely from the car (apart from the wires) when I tried to put the fog lights on... 4) the air con isn't cold You've gotta wonder if they actually do any checks on used cars before pushing them out the door? Has anyone else experienced problems with the parking sensors on their vrs?
  6. Looks good! Love the wheels too! Question... And I know theres a thread but cant seem to work out the answer... What badges did you order for the front, rear and alloys? Please . I have the same model as you so would be brilliant to know!!
  7. Thanks for the comments. Picked her up today, what a beast!!! Love love love this car!!

  9. Hi All, Complete nooby here... Im due to pick up my Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI CR vRS DSG on Saturday which unfortuntaley doesnt come with Bluetooth. I was wondering if there is anyway in which I could install it and get the buttons on the steering wheel and dash to work? I dont really want to have to fit a Bury or Parrot kit etc if I can help it. Also sat nav would be a plus... I think this is a new head unit through right? Please could you throw some ideas at me before I end up hacking up the dash with aftermarket kits... Thanks in advance, and sorry if its a repost.. :(
  10. Thank you, I do the the blue like yours , but I couldnt find a blue one with low mileage, in my budget or local anywhere!
  11. Hey all, I put down a deposit on a Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI CR vRS DSG on Wednesday and pick her up on Saturday (my Birthday present to myself) . Bought hr from Skoda in Cheshire Oaks - Mitchell's. From what the sales lady Dawn told me, we have as extra's: sunroof, xenon lights and front and rear sensors. Cant wait to put my mark on her and take her for a spin I came on this forum looking for a heads up on faults etc to look for before I put the deposit down but was suprised to see nothing which stood out - good news! I've moved on from my Mercedes Benz C180 Sport, petrol auto for the better fuel economy while retaining some sporty looks and feel Looking forward to getting to know you all. Thanks, Foxxy
