The front Pistons just push back into the housing as the handbrake mechanism doesn't act on them. the front Pistons just move in and out. Where the rear Pistons basically ratchet out.

That's extortion. Parts come to just under £50 from euro car parts. Never had a problem with using them before.

LGM yeah I've got a wind back kit cheers. I'm guessing they are clockwise to wind back.

Yeah. Had two new tyres fitted a month ago, the guy checked the pads and said they were registering red on his gauge. Also the discs are heavily corroded. And for £50 it's cheap enough to do.

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah I ended up changing it. Was a very easy job in the end. Just had a little accident when I started my car up to leak check. Didn't clip the return line on properly and it blew off.

Hi all, I was just wondering when changing the rear discs and pads does the car have to be park or neutral with the handbrake on or off? Bit of a new one on me. Used to doing manual cars. First time with an auto. Cheers

Hi guys, Was just wondering has anyone got a guide on how to replace the fuel filter on the mk 2 vrs. Also any tips on removing the three connections? Any advice would be great.

Fuses were fine thanks, I held the key in the door in the open position of around 5 seconds. windows never went down. However I held the open button on my key fob and the windows went down and the same when I held the locked position. As of now the window seems to be working fine. Thanks the replies guys!

Hi all, Passenger window will not operate by the drivers button or by the button on the passenger side, any suggestions? Drivers side works fine so I'm surmising the fuse is satis. Thanks in advance

Hello people, Been using this site for a while now and finally got around to signing up. I'm currently driving a skoda fabia mk 2 vrs in green with the black roof and wheels. I must say I'm very impressed. Had my wing mirror took off last night while I was stationary so I'm in the process of buying a new mirror. Nightmare!!
