  1. I believe there are two switches on the brake pedal and one on the clutch pedal. If you look at the pivot points of the pedals the switches are mounted there. You will need a multimeter to check the operation as you press each pedal. See if there is a you tube video of VAG brake / clutch switches. Worth checking before diving in! Hope you get it sorted.
  2. Might be worth checking your brake light switch and clutch pedal switch
  3. It will fine, Ovivo are fine with non smartphones.
  4. It will fine, Ovivo are fine with non smartphones.
  5. Thanks Chaps, for all your advice, i've decided on the genuine ones.
  6. Hi mines got a hole too, however the method with the indicator stalk works, it is fully explained in the manual. Pete
  7. I can control the DRLs buy the use of the indicator stalk in my 2012 Fabia. With ignition off pull the indicator stalk towards you then down turn the ignition on let the indicators flash 4 times then an audible bong sounds turn ignition off. The DRLs are now off. To turn them on do the same procedure but the stalk up this time, this turns them on. This might work for you. Pete
  8. I recently checked with Ovivo because my partner has a non smartphone. They assured me they were perfectly happy with non smartphone use. I see nothing you have posted that suggests that a smartphone is required. Indeed what would be the difference in a smartphone used solely for calls and a non smartphone? I can only speak from personal experience I mostly use my phone for calls and checking emails, with this use I would not be subject to any ads. If however you use your data to browse the net then ads are apparent. I hope this helps. Pete
  9. Smart phone is not required for this free tariff
  10. If you use all the 250 minutes then they charge a on a payg tariff which is 8p per minute and if you go over 300 texts is then 5p per text until the next month when the free allowance starts again. To be honest I have never gone over this allowance.i look upon their business model as ITV vs BBC.ITV are funded by ads and the Beeb you pay a license fee. You pay your money and takes your choice.
  11. Hi can anyone recommend roof bars to fit a Fabia 2 estate between the longitudinal factory fitted bars. I plan only to use these occasionally and I am reluctant to buy the genuine Skoda ones at about £140. It would be nice if they were easily removable too. Thanks Pete
  12. And 300 Texts free each month. P.S. I don't work for Ovivo just a very happy customer of theirs
  13. Free forever up to 250 mins a month. If you don't surf the net with the free data allowance you do not receive the ads that they throw at you now and again. It works a treat, Pay once then you have an free allowance of 250 mins a month. Cant do better than that!!!
