  2. Got mine today, Jason. Very, very well packaged, but no breakages!!!! Thanks
  3. Well, change of role at work and more miles to travel, the Megane at a running average of 27.9mpg has had to go. That has put me firmly in the hands of a VAG diesel, and I will be a Skoda owner once more on the 24th. I have chosen a vRS, but the Fabia this time. I will be sorting my Freedom membership out in due course and and then looking at a few tweaks, perhaps starting with the PD160 intake and then a remap. Not that I ever really left, I've always been skulking on the background, but it's good to be back /P
  4. 1) Johnjohnhealy - 4 = 4 2) mluton - 4 = 8 3) Mr Grumpy - 4 = 12 4) It Ain't No Taxi - 4 = 16. 5) Pythix - 4 =20 Thanks Jason, was onlysaying the other day I needed some!!
  5. And here was me looking at getting a motorway cruising diesel................and a PD130 would be ideal. If you do decide to, you can always let me know.........
  6. Has anyone had any experience of these??? I managed to warp them with no problems, I assumed they were of a lighter metal so replaced with some others which have been fine. /P
  7. I heard the thing about the sat-navs a while ago, never really took much notice. I have now programed home as the major intersection that I have to cross no matter which direction I am coming from. Also have the Renault equivalent of anti-hijack enabled as well. I wonder whether having some old banger of a vehicle with an engine transplant is the new Q-car?!?!? /P
  8. Used to have one of them, great car and reasonably quick too....but oh so comfortable!!! Oh, and I think the signature below says where I stand on the Megane issue
  9. Got mine the other morning, thanks:thumbup: Is there any more Andy????? I was applying it this morning and had a few requests I'll have some more for a reserve. /P
  10. I had exactly the same problem........ I spotted it at the 20k ish mark and reported it, had all four wheels changed at the 30k service under warranty. They tried the "It's the acidic cleaners you use" and "They must be chipped" but anyone that knows me will testify I don't need any acidic cleaners as they are anally cleaned weekly, and in some cases sooner. It took the area manager to see them, and he authorised the replacement. Mine was a 2003 vRS and it strikes me as they may have been a batch problem if there are ours with non wear and tear corrosion. Keep trying is my advice, although I was still in warranty at the time. /P
  11. I'll have a pair.....please Tried the CarPlan equivient but It's lasted 5k at most. I'll have whenever you have it Andy!!! Ta
  12. WRT Knight Rider: I seem to recall an compound being sprayed over KITT that made him lose is indestructability....and at the end he was made into a cabrio??!?!?! Am I dreaming this???
  13. I got rid of my Octy vRS mainly due to the 'customer service' here. I was so enraged by them that I didn't replace it with a VAG car, never mind a Skoda!!!! :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:
  14. No......I just read this and took the decision to buy.
  15. It's item 320021320924. As you see from the question at the bottom, there are light scratches. I'm now told there is kerbing to one of the wheels and they are pulling the item. :thumbdwn:
