  1. Lol, fair enough I best get some practice with the jigsaw then.
  2. Looks ace buddy. I'd like do that with mine. Did you build the sub boxes or can you buy them>
  3. Hi mate, I work in site and facilities security, that guard will have zero power to do anything if there is no signs about in clear view of the space stating otherwise. "Fines" on private property don't exist, they are actually invoices issued, that the signs will have to state you agree to pay by not parking how they state. It's a contract as such. But like I said, if there are no signs about saying you can't park in that place, they cannot do anything. But if you were blocking access to something they could have you bike removed, but let's face it that's more trouble than its worth. Don't worry about it mate, there's loads of jobsworth douche bags in the security industry, so just ignore them.
  4. Just bought my first Auto glym detailing kit. Never used clay bar before. Can't wait to see how it brings the out girl up. Will post before and after pics hopefully.
  5. Lol, yep I certainly could've, but they ended up throwing them in for free anyway. I should pay more attention though ha.
  6. Well just had the phone call, it's going to cost me £130 to get the car through its test...That's Inc the test price. Tbh I'm actually surprised it's not more, but happy it's going through. Will be picking it up at 6pm with 12 months ticket. Needed outer cv boot, a drop link, number plate bulbs, a wiper, and side light bulbs. Can't wait to get it back.
  7. My horn isn't working at all. When I press both sides of the steering wheel I can sometimes hear the relay but not always. There are also wires hanging by the horn? But from what I see horn is connected? Any ideas guys. I've got my mot on Friday.
  8. That looks great, might try that. Have you painted you bumper lower grills too?
  9. I best get the pick up pipe done then as I can't see it in any of the history. Do it just in case.
  10. How much does it cost to replace pick up pipe?
  11. "These engines are bulletproof" lol famous last words, after a mate of mine said that his and another friend of ours s3's both had big issues lol. But like you say the General opinion is that they'll last if looked after. Thanks guys, you've given me more confidence in my car.
  12. Don't worry about the mileage, mines on 182k and going strong so far. Has been more reliable than my 5 series bm which only had 80k on it. If it's got good history should be fine. Always try get price down though buddy.
  13. I can do pretty much most things myself so hopefully keep costs down. Just did a oil and filter service and tbh the engine seems absolutely sound. Think some pipes could do with replacing soon but that's it really.
  14. I see where you're coming from bud. That's kind of the line of thought I'm on. Keep it running until it costs too much to repair. Hopefully with it being well serviced I'll see well over 200k in it.
  15. My vrs is on 182k , and it's going up daily. Is it worth me putting money into it or shall I just run it until it's dead and get a lower mileage one? I know it won't be worth much with such high miles on.
