  1. Im running fk ak street 3/4 wind down and similar if not abit more on the front. I avoid most speed bumps especially the raised 1s that are centered in each lane and the 1s you find in mcds car parks. It catches everytime. Sometimes bottoms out too but I like the look. Not the best picture. [emoji16]
  2. Amazing the work gone into that, unfortunately ive got to page 13 and its stopped loading pages?!?! [emoji19] lol
  3. This is 1 of many threads ive created which related to the same issue so apologies there! I had fitted coilovers, after a week or so I was getting creaking and spring related sounds. Turned out to be siezed top mount bearings. After fitting all was fine untill another week had passed and I was get similar sounds just not as bad. My coilovers didnt come with any instructions and was a little confused as to what I had to reuse from old setup. I forgot to remove the nut thats on the coilover strut for shipping purposes and also I reused the top spring plate which I shouldnt of ( I used it because the bearing sat better on the coilover). After enquiring on here I realised id made a mistake so removed the 2 parts, the shipping nut and old string plate. This fixed the random noises and theres also less tension in the steering. The only parts you should reuse with fk ak coilovers is top mount bearing top mount (large rubber part) and the thin nut.
  4. I noticed quite a few cars last nite at motorpoint arena with green wheels...
  5. I had some creaking/boing sounds, sometimes loud sometimes faint. Turned out to be siezed top mount bearings. Replaced with new bearing and rubber top mount. All sorted.
  6. Ye I think thats what ive done, silly error really, goin to sort it first thing tomo. Hoping I can do it all without removing from hub. Thanks guys [emoji106]
  7. Not the clearest shots but might give you an idea. I know why I used the spring plate now because it didnt sit properly on top of the coilover plate. The oem spring plate has a recess so the bearing sat correctly. Looks like im guna have to start again...
  8. I tightened that nut thats on and added spring plate bearing top mount (rubber), nut, through turret and top hat top nut.
  9. I reused the spring plate which thinking about it I shouldnt?
  10. Yes 4 in total, 2 normal nuts and 2 locking nuts. They came already fitted together so I just tightened everything up. Then I added old cup from other strut new bearing, new rubber and then used the thin nut/washer to secure that together, through arch top hat on with new locking nut. Is there something ive done wrong?
  11. Hi quick question, I have fk ak street coilovers and they came with 2 new top nuts, 1 that keeps the strut, springs and cup together and the other that goes on last for top mount. My question is when I reused top mount and bearing there was also a nut holding these on do I reuse this also? (Which I did reuse it) I ask because once fitted to the car there was hardly any thread poking through and wasnt able to tighten enough to get to the locking plastic part of the new nut??? Thanks.
  12. Ive had these discs fitted for almost 8 months now. Very happy with mine. Im just using pagid pads with them tho, similar to oem I believe. I went for the same design too. [emoji106]
