This didn't worked with my car. Tried and no effect. Problem may lie in byte4 which i can't change to anything else. There where in another byte two options, RoW and Japan, problably this has also some effect but didn't tried that one, not sure what else it changes.

Car was originally sold in Germany with traffic sign recognition enabled from factory, so i think there should be all the necessary soft in A5 camera to work without nav database, will try this "road sign detection" adaption. But would be nice if somebody knows the last option also or what is the difference between them.

Do i understand it correctly, if to choose "road sign detection" then system don't try to find road sign match from nav database for that location and shows what it can read? (we do not have road signs embedded in nav database in Estonia and that is why system does not show anything right now, always "no road signs to show" message) What about "electronic horizon"?

Anyone has an idea what these options change regarding traffic sign recognition?

Individual: steering - sport mode, everything else normal. I like heavier(sort of) steering, feels more stable on road.

Anyone have tried this via VCDS? To extend the interval cycles that the headlight washers will activate to a) prevent the front of your clean car being sprayed, and to reduce the amount of screen wash usage. 1. Go to [09] Central Electronics 2. STG access permissions -> Function 16 3. Enter access code 31347 4. Go to adaptation channels (Function 10) 5. Select channel 1 - Select "Number of operations front windsceen wiper washer per SRA activation" (in German - Frontscheibenwischer Anzahl Betätigungen Frontwaschanlage pro SRA Aktivierung auswählen) 6. Adjust value to preference (no of times you can operate the windscreen washer stalk before the headlight washer activate). 7. Select channel 3, and adjust the activate time for folding the switch to enable headlight washers in the first place. I'm interest in this last point, that i could control myself when headlight washers activate. Which values and which channel should i change to activate headlight washers by folding the switch lets say 2s or so. Also, i would like to cancel that headlight washers comes on automatically every first time i use windshield washers, if it possible to change this also to 2s switch folding time. Thank you.

Mine has avg 47mpg/33mph, first 5000km, still comes down. (fwd, dsg, 18'' wheel, sport suspension)

I have driven only 1600km so far, FWD/DSG (sport suspension and 18'' wheels) 1.8tsi and it seems avg 7,4L/100km thus far, approx. avg speed around 55km/h. I hope to get even lower consumption later, when it has more km driven.
