I've gave in with the vrs and bought a 63 Monte Carlo 105, shame though great little car but too many faults :-(

No I'm in Cumbria mate, it's really annoying, as soon as I let go the wheel it moves about three inches anti clockwise, like something is out of line, great little car but just to many problems, I've had tracking done twice :-(

Getting oil drained today, only drive two or three miles hopefully nothing damaged

Yeah it's definitely overfilled,, is it as easy as just draining some out as it's new oil?

Hi guys, my local garage has just put oil in my car(fabia vrs), buy IM pretty sure they've over filled it, I've just checked, when warn like I always do and it's Upto the orange bit and a little over it, the part that's above where it should be, my question is, should I drain some out or will it just burn off as it does use quite a bit of oil, thanks

Apparently the tyres are directional at the back so can't be swapped over ,I'll have to wait till there bold lol

Yes it was pulling before work was done, it's apparently had a new dsg box in,although it feels exactly the same as the other one (I thought they were adaptive), engine still original, it doesn't wander to left gradually, as you ease go the steering wheel it shifts immediately two or three inches to the left, dealer say they can't see anything, as I say, alignment done, so was hoping tyres would be the cause, I'll have to try maybe putting the front two onto the back a they are the same kind,vw said they thought something was out of line or bent all so slightly but can't see anything, they never mentioned the tyres, thanks

Hi guys I have a 2011 fabia vrs, I've noticed it pulling to the left, had tracking done, twice in fact, lastly by vw who said something must be bent or of line as they couldn't get the rear end to track properly as there's no adjustment??, it has two brand new maxxis tyres on the front, and on the back there's a margoni on one side and a budget on the other, all are pretty brand new, could the odd tyres be causing the pull? Thanks

Hi,, no I didn't get the print out, but it was a vw garage that done it, it's actually been done twice, the first garage said it could be the tyres, as he had tracked it as well as he could, and the vw garage said they thought something was out of line preventing the rear from tracking properly but couldn't see anything obvious.

Front tyres and tear tyres I meant, sorry for the spelling lol I'll also add all the tyres are nearly new which is putting me off buying matching ones

Hi guys I have a 2011 fabia vrs, just had replacement dsg box, the servicing light just came on,it's done 21k,I was wondering what was needed for the service, it's just had an oil change, is there anything major needed because I was gonna go to my local independent garage,, also another Question...the car has just had a four wheel alignment as it was pulling to the left,, now if I'm going in a straight line and I let the steering wheel go (on a quiet road) the steering wheel immediately moves two or three inches to the left, now the garage say they can't quite get the rear to get within the tolerances as it's not adjustable ?, I've noticed the two font tyres are maxxis and the tears are margoni and a cheapo, could the mismatched tyres be causing the pull? Any info would be appreciated as I've had lots of problems and I don't wanna get rid of what is a great little car,, Thanks a lot

I mean I could get it all repaired under warranty but why should I have to,, I'm not sure I can get a refund, I've had it six months, but the dealer HAVE to offer me a like for like vehicle,, surely can't happen again :-)

,gearbox knackered, using loads of oil, various other problems, gonna write to dealer demanding refund or like for like swap,I ain't paying ten grand a car that needs all this replaced, what's to say other things aren't gonna go, sod that
