For many reasons I'm not going to go into, it's a sad day today where I stripped down the car of its mods and removed my plate, 2 and a half years of mostly enjoyable motoring comes to an end on Friday. Doesn't even look like the same car to me now, kind of wish I'd bought a spare grill to colour code though. She's making way for this. My new Audi s5!! ...I wish. Mk7 fiesta zetec s 1.6tdci, 60+mpg and £20 road tax. It's done 49k with 1 previous owner, full service history and is quite simply immaculate bodywork wise.

I like where this is going.

New battery was fitted and fired first time. So yesterday got my tints done.

Enjoyment short lived. Wouldn't start this morning, did on a jump drove to liverpool which is a good 20 minute run, turned off and wouldn't start again. Wife has been and picked a new battery up as I'm hoping it's just lost its ability to hold charge, as if it was alternator it wouldn't of lasted so long. If I make it home after work I can find out.

Put the insert back in, the insert exists because removing the whole bush is a horrendously hard job. I've just fitted an insert yesterday and it solved my knock issues.

Did you tighten to 90nm + 1/4turn? When I was reading up about them it was suggested over tightening can have negative effects. This for me is like night and day, don't get me wrong the wheel hop is still there it's just far less aggressive.

Oil change today... Also fitted my dogbone insert. Really happy with it stopped the engine rock on Gear change and no added vibration, also reduced the severity of the wheel hop which is a bonus. Cheeky pic afterwards. More progress to come Friday...

What about the h&r 50/40 kit.

What condition are the trailing arm bushes in? They could cause vibration.

Dogbone arrived New jetter arrived Made the most of my day off too... Absolutely made up with it, sounds really good and not sure of its just in my head but seems to pull harder through mid range.

Once again excellent service from GNJ motorsport, intake arrived today. Quite taken aback at how big this kit actually is.
