  1. How much are you looking for?
  2. Blanco If you've still got these, I'll take them please
  3. Thanks for the offer but I now realise I need the base AND back - where did you get the cover set from?
  4. Hi all, Stupidly got into the car with a screwdiver in my pocket and have ripped the standatrd seat cover Does anyone know where I can get a new cover/recover (it's only the part you sit on, not the back) Cheers Dave T
  5. Hi all, I've just got back from Corwall and have done much the same to my beloved sprint yellow Furby :( Anybody got any recommendations for repairs in or around Derby? Cheers Diver
  6. Hi, I know this article should have pics, but I can't see them with any of my browsers :( Has anyone got the full article?
  7. Absolutely none, nix, negative, nil That's what I've been saying all along. There are 2 full ISO sockets - exactly like the skoda symphony unit and every one of the h/u's I've fitted in the last few years. Unfortunately since I've never worked on a VAG car before, I'd never heard of the 2 wires that need swapping over. To acheive this wire swap, an ISO to ISO lead is specifically made by Blaupunkt (Bluespot) to resolve this exact issue, and it worked perfectly. Cheers
  8. I wasn't able to take any photos of my JVC h/u's ISO sockets, cos my camera went phut:( But, the good news is the Bluespot lead I ordered has completely solved the problem Thanks anyway
  9. But the JVC h/u doesn't have a loom of it's own - that's the problem! It only has the 2 sockets in the back of the unit where the vrs loom plugs in, and I don't want to mess about with the standard fabia wiring yet
  10. Unfortunately it's the stock loom :( I have ordered the Bluespot adaptor lead so I can play around with that. Cheers
  11. Hi all, I've just swapped the Symphony standard HU for a JVC MP3/Radio on my new Furby VRS. This is only a stopgap until I can afford an Alpine unit with iPod connector:) The problem is that when the igntion is turned off, the unit doesn't retain the memory of the station it was tuned to :( This was a one for one replacement i.e. 2 plugs out of Symphony unit and 2 plugs into JVC. It looks like it's missing a permanent 12v for the memory, but is there an easy solution? TIA
  12. Hi all, Can anyone tell me what oil is in a Furby VRS from new? I always change the oil and filter on all new engines after 30 - 100 miles to get rid of the rubbish. I'm assuming it's a mineral oil to enable the engine to bed in? TIA
  13. Hi all, I've been registered for a couple of weeks, ever since I had a test drive at a dealer in Mansfield. Never been into cars much, bikes are more my thing (GSXR1000K5), but I was so impressed with the overall package I have just completed a deal for a new vRS in September in the new lemon yellow Looking forward to finding out more about the Fabia, and putting my 2 pence in occaisionally Cheers
