  1. So is that all the side of the boot having to come off to access it?
  2. Where is this connector? I fancy having a look at mine and seeing if I can swap the cables round without ripping the car to its!
  3. Does anyone have any opinion on these? I'm thinking of getting the splitters skirts, defuser and the boot spoiler for my grey superb estate. I'm a little torn between gloss black and carbon effect does it look like real carbon at all, or is it fooling no one? I like the idea of carbon with the metallic grey on our car, possibly with carbon mirror shells, although that might be me trying too hard wanting it to look like an RS6 or something! I'm also unsure of which from splitter to get, from the pics I'm struggling to see the differences esp when the pics all show a gloss black splitter which doesn't photograph well! And how have people got them fitted, is it a diy job, or is it better to get maxton or a body shop to fit them. Sorry for all the questions, but thanks for any advice/answers!
  4. Far as I can tell the battery is OK, but the car seems to stop/starting less often, so my assumption would be that the battery is starting to decline and may need changing. That thought has been pushed on due to the fact that we are due to be on the nc500 this time next week, and the forecast is for below freezing temps, with a good chance of snow, and I dont fancy being stranded In a remote part of Scotland thanks to a dodgy battery! That car did a run down to Leeds from Newcastle last weekend, and from my multimeter I am seeing about 12.3 to 12.4v with the car off.
  5. I'll go for an EFB then, seems to be no one around here active on the vcds map. I am assuming that as mine has done 5 years this new one should last as long. i am slightly surprised though that others have an agm battery in the same model and I have an efb!
  6. Wanting to change my 220tsi battery and had assumed it was an agm, but it appears to be an efb type battery. What happens if I upgrade to agm and dont code it in (I dont have any tools, and don't know anyone round sunderland who does) Does it just not use the full capacity of the battery, or is it going to throw errors? Thanks
  7. Would be interesting to know. 8 channels in, 10 out and power & ground?
  8. How in the name of whatever are you getting 50plus mpg?! Our 220 only gets into the very low 40's on a run if I am very careful and in eco mode!
  9. Could anyone tell me if a 20"x9 wheels ET 35 fit a 2018 Superb 2.0 tsi on a 255/30/20 Thanks
  10. would these be any good as starter polishes for a cordless DA? https://www.amazon.co.uk/menzerna-Polishes-Medium-Finish-Polishing/dp/B07HQP3J1X/
  11. What do people reccomentpd as a good pair to start off with? I've recently bought a ryobi cordless polisher (the decent one, not the cheap one), I know its not as good as a corded one, but I have the batteries! Anyway, my grey superb estate is looking tatty everywhere and i thought I would have a go at polishing it up and get rid of some of the marring, swirls and scratches! So as the title suggests, what are good combo's to start with? Many a moon ago I would have bought some dodo juice lime prime and had a go, but I assume thing's have got better since. And as for pads, I haven't got a clue! Do I go with a soft pad to start with to minimise how much work the polish can do, or does someone have a good combo that will remove some of the swirls without needing too much refinement. Thanks
  12. does anyone know if its possible to upgrade from the 096 type battery to a larger size like the 019 for a bit more battery power? thanks
  13. i'll take the floor mats Can you send me your details please
  14. I'd love one as well if anyone knows somewhere that makes them!
