  1. Hi, Does anyone know if Skoda will be releasing anymore seat options for the Fabia Monte Carlo? I'd really like the estate car in Race Blue but the red interior puts me off. Thanks
  2. Thanks for the information, They said it was the thermostat that needed changing, we're going tomorrow to look at it again, and I'll ask them about the camchain.
  3. Hi Guys, Please could anyone offer some advice? My wife and I are about to go finalise purchase of a 1.2L TSI (85BHP) Fabia, its 5 years old and has done about 37K. It's from a garage and when we test drove it the coolant light came on after 5 minutes, we were happy with everything else about the car so we decided to go a head with the purchase on the condition that whatever was wrong with the coolant was sorted. A few days later they said the coolant problem was sorted and that it had gone though an MOT with no problems, then just as we were due to go in they phoned saying there was coolant problem again and that they needed to order parts. It's caused us to have second thoughts so my question is this- Should we be worried about the coolant system or is it something that can be easily replaced. Thanks
  4. I have Roof Bars permanently on my Citigo and it nearly always leaks if the car is parked on level ground and it rains for a period of time.- Good job my drive way is on a slope
  5. Ah yes sorry for the mix up I'd driven a VW UP before and I'd test driven the citigo before I bought it and I was happy with the power steering and the turning circle.
  6. I have Wolfrace Mirage Alloys on mine- they are 15" with a 6.5 off set, I get about 49mpg but I do also have roof bars and bike carriers on. I put the wheels on the day after I got my SE so the change in handling wasn't really noticeable. To me the car feels very stable on the road and I've had no problems with steering.
  7. I have Thule roof bars on my Citigo that I leave on all the time, but I know if I did take them off I'm pretty sure I could have the bars and the two bike carriers on in 20 minutes. http://www.briskoda....d-bike-carrier/
  8. On my last fill up I was getting 49mpg and the one before that I got 47mpg, I think (well I hope) this is because I have Thule roof bars on my car all the time and one bike carrier, I also have new Wolf race Alloys which are wider that the Skoda alloys. I'll be removing the bike carrier to see how much of a different that makes and update here when I have the results. (My daily commute is about 20 miles- about 13 motorway 7 urban)
  9. Thanks Professor, I went for 15" Alloys from www.wheelbasealloys.com Being an SE it only had steel wheels so I wanted to personalize it a little and like I said I've never bought alloys before so I didn't want to stray to much from the Skoda alloy sizes.
  10. Thanks Damo, never bought alloys before so I'm really pleased with them! Thanks Professor, have you seen much difference on MPG with the roof bars? (I'm going to leave the bars on but don't know yet whether I'm going to leave the bike carrier on) Here's my 6 wheels in their full glory, having always carried my bike on the back of the car it's a bit nerve racking driving at first purely because on A and B roads its easy to forget I'm carrying it.
  11. Thule Wing Bars 969 Thule Rapid Systyem 754 Thule Fitting kit 1672 Thule ProRide 591 More pictures when I put my bike on
  12. Skoda have recently changed the gear box on the Citigo- not sure about the effect to first gear but to get reverse you have to push down then go bottom right to put it into reverse. The dealer couldn't tell me whether it was because of a fault or just an improvement.
  13. I think I have the same "rattle" on my SE, I also remember my girlfriends VW take up having the same sound. Should it be classed as a "feature" of the citigo or do I needs to contact the dealership to get it fixed? Like Drewett96 says its only really noticeable at low rev's but when you are trying to drive in the optimal gear that tends to be all the time :( Thanks
  14. I've had my SE for 6 days and its the same mechanism that I was shown back in march when I ordered, that is unless they've changed the internal parts to improve the function.
  15. Here's mine with new alloys, I've also got some thule roof bars and bike carrier to put on but still waiting for the fitting kit- I've seen a few posts asking about bars so I'll add more photos after I've fit them.
