Oil a little low and fault was p0234 - pending fault Turbo/SuperCharger Overboost Condition car seems to drive ok today? when i tested it for 5 mins.

Hey read through some of the post's and will have to check in day light but... Drove to the chipper tonight healthy supper and on the way back after exiting a slip road there was a weird power loss, car lost a bit of speed and wouldn't really accelerate much. No Bang Noise, metal or anything, no EMS. when turning off the dual carriage way, on back roads etc it just seems that there is no turbo kicking in, seems fine but just slow. only thing i noticed was when brake turning at speed on the way to the chipper the oil light flashed on and off quickly. car has always had a whistle to it since 50k . now 102k, bugger is just went through mot @400 quid :(. Thanks Wino, I will go replace them all, so see if one is going faulty. so the light is tripped if the resistance goes up?

Hey Bulb warning light came on at the weekend, drivers side main beam was out, changed the bulb, but the light has just stayed on. Goes off and on randomly, stays off for a longer period if I start car with main beam on, but will come on again while driving. Checked all the main bulbs, indicators , head / side/ rear and brake lights. 2007 SE VRS , Standard. I take it this an MOT failure ? Thanks

ok thanks Bolts had been overtighed and stripped threads on hub, so installed larger bolts, but did same thing, so put larger in again. but there just not holding up to scratch, so just need to replace with new unit

Hey my passenger side hub carrier has been going for some time, lobbed in some bigger bolts, then it rattled then loose again, so again some bigger ones. but its starting to go :). I cant seem to find a passenger side one anywhere , all driver side. ( Fabia Vrs Special edition ). I seen the post that inidcate these fit 6L Ibiza Sport/FR/Cupra 9N Polo GT/GTi but do they have to come from a 1.9 car ? as I can find a polo n 1.4 diesal hub on the nearside. Thanks for any help

Good Spy Baldy Guy, my front drivers side started to squeal, one of the lip's had snapped off, and the clip was actually scraping against the disc, bent the other side up and that has stopped for the moment, and my pads are like new, so did want to replace them lol, Clips away to be ordered I take it they are the same for the 2007 LE VRS?

Hey All I noticed since I have had the car for 6 months now, that it seems to randomly over idle about 10.3k when driving and sitting at lights, I have to tap the accelerator to bring it down to 1k but now it seems to be under idling when sitting and you can feel the car judder. not mention and every time I dip below 2k when driving, any gear and go to accelerate again it judders, apart from that the car runs like a dream ...just very strange. any Ideas? thanks for any assist

Cool any aerial recommendation? hey yeah you were right , it was under the passenger seat, but it fails to eject the cartridge, cables also looked un clipped from seat base, possible faulty? nah m8 I got it was a used car dealers, FSH tho doesn't seem to be much wrong with it, but just wanting it in good shape and running order, bought it has a reliable family car, as we are moving 30 miles out of Aberdeen, so doing 60 iles per day round trip , about 50 of them motorway. 2 front tyres are p0 and the rears are continental, will have to sort that out as well lol Cheers for all the help folks appreciated, tbh never thought I would see the day I would buy a skoda and some folk I know are still like ...its a skoda, but love the car soo stuff them haha what ever the skoda cant beat ..my other car is zx10r ;P haha

yea I got mines for 6700, new belt , console bush and wheels refurbs with 1 female owner and 55k on the clock, I thought it was an ok price :/ just ordered a seatbelt for the drivers side and noticed the passenger spot lamp was cracked, so a new one on its way. going in for tracking on sat, and ive greased the door, Still cant find the CD changer in the boot tho?? and not sure what do to about the lack of radio signal tho.

Hey all yea you were right number's were faint' No real issues so far passenger rear door creaks rafio doest pick a signal most of the time drivers seat belt seems iffy tracking off maybe pulls to the left all in all really like it
