AG aqua wax. That and fast glass is all you need for all exterior surfaces.

Thanks. The diffuser is undamaged so hopefully can be fixed to a new bumper.

Please does anyone know if the diffuser is part of, or separate to the rear sport bumper? Is the later Monte Carlo the same part? In my mind the diffuser is gloss- can anyone confirm. Have had a knock and am trying to find out if parts will be easy to come by. Thanks for any help.

When we bought our mountain buggy duet we weren’t sure if it would fit into skoda citigo, vw up, seat mii. But it does and here’s the proof to help others in same predicament. Wanted to leave a thread for the google bots to find as it would have been useful for us 12 months ago.

Once the door card is off it should be quite simple. Probably need to set the switch to lowest setting to fit the glass in before disconnecting it you might be able to leave connections in but card loose to do mechanical fixings. Most likely two plastic pieces hold the glass, driven by wires.

I did a regulator on a golf for £30-40. But don't waste your time if you've a warranty it might be more complicated. I had seat do one and that had to change are rubbers in the door frame too. -
With wingbar strips being £18, I have bought bars cheaply from gumtree, taken the strips and resold. There was a chap who commissioned a length and was selling the left over to recoup through eBay.

Just get more data. It will be a couple of quid and give you full functionality.

What are you trying to hide!? -
Get the pre facelift ones?

Find the shop that does the approved bodywork directly. It's in their interest to help with a claim. Worked for me on a golf where the dealer had already snubbed the claim.

eBay buyer protection doesn't include motors anyway. Sadly you have bought a lemon, the write off category, the eBay 'dealer', the sold as seen/ no warranty and the suspect 'the other bidder can't pay' were clues to pick up on. Can an you source an engine from elsewhere or let an independent find and for one to rescue something?
