Thanks Binzie! Wasn't aware you could stream through an such a device on this unit. I wouldn't mind getting rid of the original unit though and upgrading to a newer one. This is worth keeping as a backup plan though

Hoping someone can help... I recently bought a 2006 Skoda VRS and can't stand the Skoda audio system installed, so want to get a new one. I've done some research and am totally confused..! I know I need a double din system and can go for either and OEM system or non OEM, but am not really sure of the real difference... or implication of non OEM? The key features I want are; - streaming from smartphone - bluetooth - decent sound - I don't care about SatNav I was recommended the RCD510, but can't seem to find where to purchase one other than eBay...? I've also been told to go for Alpine or similar system i.e. non OEM... Can anyone helps suggest a decent system that won't break the bank and that I can buy without risking a stolen or hacked system....? help!
