Hi, I have a 2009 1.9 superb which has done a trusty 163k miles without too much fuss until now. The 5 speed manual gearbox/transmission has developed a chattering sound on take up and on pulling uphill (under load). The problem was thought to be gearbox related so my local specialist pulled the box for inspection. The Clutch had done 70k and was worn and was replaced with the DMF. The gearbox was stripped and nothing was found untoward and all was reassembled back in the car with new oil. The car still clatters on take up and two drive shafts were fitted as the next cure but to no avail but did lessen the noise. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Trying to fit new handbrake cables to Skoda superb 2 ....Does any know how to correctly remove the centre consul or can this work be done by removing just the rear of the consul.

Hi, Front Driver seat (standard type) has become worn and now showing signs of splitting on outer seam ....are these replaceable through Skoda as a genuine part or are there any suppliers that produce a replacement. Help or advise would be appreciated .Gordon

On the old superb as with the Passat the phelmun chamber drains (drains for scuttle) used to block giving the off a smell like bad eggs Organic waste from leaves etc. Might be the same ?

Does anyone rate the new 1.6 tdi.Engine I currently run the 1.9 Skoda Superb 2 and was wondering if the 1.6 is suitable for taxi use. Gordon.

Hi. Looking for a solution to fit a Bluetooth connection for a 2009 Skoda Superb S fitted with a standard Swing type (monochrome) radio. Has anyone retro fitted a bluetooth unit.(Skoda preferred or Other) I would be grateful for the part no's as I have nearly given up trying to fit a nokia CK-7 unit from a 2006 golf as the quadlock fiitings appear to be different from the standard VW set-up. This is one for the technical heads.Skoda Superb 2, Is there a way to deactivate the drivers seat belt buzzer as I am except from seat belt regulation due to my profession. I would very much appreciate any replies.
