Hi I had similar problem 3 years ago with advertised rates and actual rates and put me off using the supermarket "cheap" rates deals and this time went for 3.9% deal from my bank instead of the 3% which is been offered by others. If you read the terms eetc of these deals the % rate can be between 3 to 22 % dependant on certain factors.. I suspect a lot of the actual loans are taken out above the 3%. the problem is that if you apply and they do a credit check. Its then on your credit history for a small length of time and makes it harder to get a alternative loan
  2. Hi yes i was in the same position and was going to VT but decided to try and sell it privately which i did with 2 weeks. Paid off final balance and buyer got a good car /deal. Looked in to VT and it does seem fair straight forward
  3. Hi yes i have had a DTUK kit fitted to mine and was great, the power, acceleration and fuel economy does not seem to suffer. Have taken it off mine because changing cars and am actual trying to sell it at the present. Its the new model CRD-T+ stage 2 with 2 channels. E mail me if interested. They are easy to fit and could do it for you but i live in west yorkshire

  6. Hi The R i am getting has DSG (main reason for new car) DCC and the teck pack Do like the look of new VRS model but need a change Have realy enjoy the VRS great car but its still the badge snods do really p***s me off

  10. Hi decission made its the Golf R. Have really enjoyed the Vrs and would recommend but warn about resale values. So will try sell privately or hand back Cheers

  13. Hi i think its the better option as it has alot of extra bits on it only exception is that it does not have 19 inch wheels which is good thing in my option and approx £19k. How did you walk away from the vrs did you VT it Cheers
