I was told that my car will be checked by the dealer at 1000 miles just to torque things up and check for rattles etc. There are none so all seems greatb with my Octavia :-)

I have just returned from my holiday. Mine now has 1800 miles on her in 3 weeks! Booked in for its 1000 mile check on the 2nd September! Need to get out and wash her tomorrow as 2 weeks with 3 teenagers and a dog plus the wife has made my octavia a little grubby ;-)

Mine arrived last week with the pack and wheels on an Elegance so it will be rare now. Cant believe Skoda I wanted the wheels but at the time I ordered they changed the options so that I had to have the style pack as well! 11 weeks later they dispense with it! I wish they would make their mind up. Cant do anything about it now. Anyway I am happy with the cars looks.

Can't believe it is taking so long to get your car to you Andrew! Hope it arrives soon. It is worth the wait. Honest! :-)

Only had it since last night so just getting used to seeing it with the style pack. It may be something I will consider later but not straight away. I am happy (in the end!) With the way it looks. The car is really nice.

Hi Andrew. Mine arrived at the dealers yesterday and I picked it up last night. Even though its only been 10 impatient weeks it has been worth the wait! Glad to hear you will soon have yours. Mark

They do a bit but they aren't as bad as I imagined they have a carbon fibre look to them so they arent't flat looking.The wheels look great and I think they fit really well with the pack. The dealer told me that he has had two more orders for cars with the pack but mine was the first one that he has seen. I am really pleased. Looking forward to my holiday now.

When I spoke to SUK last week I was told that the dealer is allowed 3 and a half days maximum to pdi etc. My dealer called me today to say mine is being delivered in the morning and I can probably pick it up in the evening. I told them not to rush!!!

I had a call from the dealer at lunchtime to say that my car is being delivered tomorrow and I can pick it up in the evening! I have got to go in this evening and sign the paperwork but cant wait now!!!!!! :-)

I didn't intentionally go for the style pack. I wanted the wheels but at the time I orderedSoda changed the options so that you had to order the pack as well. The dealer is paying for the pack as they messed up and put the order through before I had properly thought about it and the build was confirmed. I have been hoping it will look goodd ever since!! Anyway once it arrives I will post the pictures. Please go easy on me if you dont think it looks good. ;-)

Falkster I have a 2.0l td elegance hatch in race blue with sports style pack arriving in a couple of weeks (its on its way from Emden to Sheerness this weekend hopefully!). Not sure what it will look like but I am praying it looks good! Once it is here I can post some pictures if anyone is interested. Mark

I spoke to John Good at SUK and he told me that my car is still in Emden (contrary to what the dealer told me!). John said it arrived on the 18th and has a 10 day window (for inspection for transit damage) to be delivered to Sheerness so should be there on the 28th (Monday). It then has to be checked again for damage etc. My dealer should have the car (baring any damage!) By the end of the week and they then have 3 and a half days to Pdi the car apply and apply the paint protection I ordered. I am going on holiday on the 9th/10th (havent decided which day to travel yet) up to the Lake District so it will be tight!!!! Not sure why the dealer told me that it had left the port of exit? Anyway boat this weekend then. Cant wait now! Have the found yours yet Andrew?

Thanks Andrew. I have sent Skoda UK an email to see if I can speed things up once it gets to the UK. Fingers crossed! I hope yours turns up soon. It may be on the same ship as mine. Lets both hope they both will be here soon. It seems like such a long wait. Glad I didnt order a VRS as I think I would have gone mad by now!!!!!

The dealer has just emailed me to say mine has now left the port of exit and is in transit. Still no idea on delivery date though!
