  1. HI Rustynuts. I wonder if you could help. My wife has had her RNS510 'die' on her. Its an OEM unit fitted after sales to her Rapid. Until now, its been fine. But now the touchscreen doesn't respond. The unit powers up and asks for the code number to be put in, but the touchscreen doesn't work. Hard and soft resets haven't helped. The on/off button works fine and as the unit powers up, you very briefly see the radio station list, but then it goes to asking for the code. I have the code, but the screen just does not respond to touch. Thanks.
  2. Ha! I was going to post about the steamed up windows. Not just me then

  4. Mine was always powered as well. PITA for my dashcam which recorded hours of parking in Tescos. Ended up taking it in to an auto shop to get a switched socket put in
  5. Paid 13500 for my Rapid sport in May. I'd be surprised if its on at 6700 in 6 months. Dealers seem to be flogging year old examples of the 105 psi model for around 11000.
  6. Manny's right. If she claims, you will pay (to some degree). Great isn't it?
  7. Know the feeling. My Yaris was hit by a flying object - a pheasant. Left a football sized dent in the bonnet. Changed my views on shooting
  8. The Sport has controls similar to your first picture
  9. Still struggling to find the bluetooth unit itself. If i can find it, you're right option 2 might be easier, but so far........ BTW, i know that these are often under the drivers seat. I don't know if it makes a difference but the Rapid Sport (that comes with bluetooth) also has sports seats, not like the others in the Rapid range. Would that make a difference?
  10. Hmm. Went all over the seat and still couldn't find it. Is it in the seat or under the floor carpet? I did find the cables for the airbag and seatbelt sensor, but that was about it.
  11. Wider tyres probably means more resistance = more drag = less mpg. Looks better though. (we have Ray wheels on ours)
  12. Cool. Whats the glass roof like? Its the reason i'd get a Spaceback over its sister
  13. I'm pleased with our Rapid all round. I'm getting the same MPG as the rest of you, but its the performance which has surprised me. With two adults, 3 big kids, a boot of luggage and a full tank, it would still accelerate lively enough. Its not a car that sets the world on fire, but hey, its not bad.
  14. Great. Thanks for your help. I'll slide the seat back tonight and have a hunt
