do skoda do genuine seat covers...or not???
Bassets4eva replied to clidgevrs's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Brought semi tailored seat covers for my normal fabia. Think by premier were on ebay. Not that expensive and choice of piping colours etc. Really fast service and made especially in the colour I wanted. -
Had a quotes all in for 377 and 356 Inc pump or local garage 200 +vat no new pump.

What sort of price should I be paying to have my timing belt changed? Any recommendations for a garage in Somerset or north Dorset? Does the water pump be replaced at the same time? Thanks

Switch sometimes goes. They did away with the internal handle sadly. You can go through the boot and pull the little orange lever across but not very practical. Think the wiring can break as well. Mine stopped working so I added a bike brake cable and lever as a temporary repair. Slammed the boot down and it started to work again.

Can the whole lock cylinder pull out??
-
Got my fitted second hand one from ebay. Can still use the cover.

Pre heat engineering? Do various ones. Low power so worth having a time switch to the external socket

My boot lock stopped working the other day. Not so easy to open the boot when you have a ladder and tool kit in it! Mines a bohemia and doesn't have the lever but the attachments to fit it are on the lower bit of the lock along with the lock opening solenoid. Only 2 buttons on the key fob. Thinking broken wire so will need to chase bit it doesn't look an easy fix!

Fitted a,second hand witter with a new gueniue electrics kit. The lights work but need it programming for the warning light to work. Think you can fit a second hand one from polo's, seats and the fabia hatch is same as the estate.

Trying to get wishbone off - help needed?

Wd40 is a jack of all trades master of none. Don't know if just plumbfix or if screwfix do it as well but a freezing penetrating oil in a spray.
