Hi I been lurking for a long time and have posted a couple of times but looks like I've bought 105 cr Monte, just waiting for some bits to be done before I finalise the deal. When I take ownership I firstly want to change the bulbs, side, fog main/dipped rear bulbs if possible for LEDs or the very whitest is this easy and what are people's thoughts on the best whitest bulbs to use

I'm going to be looking at a Monte 1.6 105 in the next few days, is there anything in particular I should be looking out for or asking?

Thanks MVL how would I know if the engine has been changed? Are there any clues/signs?

Thanks for the replies so far, I hadn't really thought about the 1.2 TSI 105, what sort of gain can you get with a re-map? I currently drive a corsa diesel, so that was my idea ref. monte diesel. I think after reading many post on the forum it might be best to steer clear of the VRS as I probably wont be able to afford a newish VRS

Hi, I'm looking to buy a Fabia soon but still unsure which will be less problematic. Either the Monte Carlo CR105 or the VRS, on the latter the oil consumption worries me a little, is this on all VRS's? Thanks for any advice

As of Monday just gone there was 4 Vrs' on the stock computer 2x Blue, 1 Green and 1 Red that were still up for grabs, from what I can remember the Green had the higher spec with options chosen.

Went to have a look at an octy vRS(03 plate 31k miles) today and noticed that the front seats were fraying, From where the silver mesh mets the leather on the seat base (under your thighs), is this a common fault.
