Thanks, I was under the illusion it was recommended! Will a standard turbo be at risk from premature failure from a remap? Say you're mapping a full service history at 70k?

Eventually I'd aim to have a seat sport fmic, 160 intake and a new turbo. If you apply a remap today and add an fmic tomorrow would you still benefit as much without a retune?

If I were thinking about a tuning box I'd have to consider a black smoke remap first, and for 60 all in it would be my preference. I'd like to go for a proper tune but feel it would be wasted if I didn't have all the supporting mods I will eventually end up buying and installing.

I have thought about one of the newer vRS's but would ideally like to lower my monthly outgoings, I'm now handing back my current finance car (Suzuki Swift) I've loved the reliability and MPG but was a big shock coming from my older Civic.. I just hope the Furby treats me well and makes me smile! Are turbos and DMF's as big a concern as i am hearing?
