  1. Hi all, For sale is my Black Magic Fabia vRS on a 53 (2003). Only had it a few months and after pouring over £1500 into it on mechanical upkeep in order to create a good base to start modding, i've realised that its not worth having a diesel for my 2 mile trip to work every day so i've bought myself a 1.8t Im going to be brutally honest with the description as it still needs a little bit of loving and I know everyone on here can appreciate the potential these cars hold. _______________________________________________________________ Mileage: 136000 Service history: Pretty much full, just missing 2 stamps - Full service about a month ago with only the oil and filter left to be changed (done fuel filter, K&N, Cabin filter) + Pagid disks and pads all round MOT: Just had 12 months put on and all advisories taken care of Cambelt & Water Pump: Done a couple of months ago with OEM parts from euro Clutch & Flywheel: Done a couple of months ago. Valeo clutch kit fitted with a Valeo SMF conversion History: HPI clear Cosmetics: Recently had all new badges. I've had the drivers bolster re-foamed and re-upholstered (upholsterer couldn't get hold of the exact grey material so took the centre seat material from the rear seats as a donor and re-trimmed the centre rear seat in the same black fabric as the centres). Drive/Mechanical: The car has had a remap and I estimate is pulling around 170bhp (judging from past experience of driving many tuned diesels). Not done by a well known company but the map is fairly progressive and drives quite well. apart from the map and the mufflerectomy (done by previous owner) i believe this car is completely standard. http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx164/unkyerb/5476f3fdc1cf3_1_zps96130fac.jpg The car is mechanically sound and ready to take modifications so please bear that in mind when reading the next bit Bad bits. again, I will be critical: -Needs fuel sender unit (fuel gauge has started to read backwards and was advised by the local auto electrician that this is the solution) -Elephant breather mod (though there is a catch can included that I haven't fitted yet) -Needs fan resistor pack (fan speed 1 inop) -Needs rear doors sealing (common fault, depending on how long I have the car for after this advert goes live, I may get round to doing it myself) -A/C regas (maybe something you can live without for a while given its winter!) -Wheels need a refurb and centre caps on (tyres all good) -Needs fogs fitting (again, I have them and they're included) -Needs new boot carpet -tailgate needs looking at as you have to gently push down on it when opening otherwise it wont open It does look like a long list of cons but trust me, if I were doing the appropriate mileage, I'd be keeping this without a shadow of a doubt. Plus most of them are inexpensive things to fix. An optimist would view this car as the perfect opportunity to take a mechanically healthy car home for a bargain and bring it up to a show standard without worrying about any nasty surprise mechanical bills. It's now sitting on my drive at home waiting for a new owner. £2000 P.s if they aren't gone by the time someone is interested, I have a set of brand new VMaxx coilovers that Include with the car for an extra £200 (£400 new) and also a Kenwood double din sat nav unit for a further £100 Location - Blackpool You can reach me on 07788299568 - texts are better as I cant usually answer calls at work. I'll do my best to get back to you within the hour.
  2. Hi guys, For sale are a set of MK1 Fabia vRS coilovers by VMaxx. I bought them to go on but have ended up buying something else and will be selling the vRS (Which will be in the for sale section). The coilovers are £400 new and have never been fitted (never got round to it). They don't come with the adjustable drop links as these were already fitted to the car for its MOT. £300 Collection Blackpool You can contact me on 0778829568 (as im not on here very often) - text is your best bet as I can't usually answer calls at work. Ill get back to you within the hour. Cheers guys!
