  1. little update. I'll have the entire engine replacement. But it will still be a CAVE and not the CTHE. :( I hope it will not have the same oil comsuption problem that I had with the "old one".
  2. Told them to change the plugs.. but their saying that if there was something wrong with the plugs, there would have been a log somewhere.. Didn't thought of that, thanks They told me that, since the problem could have been due to bad fuel, they had to throught it away, and they cannot stock it.. By the way - the car is still in the workshop.. (yep 2weeks plus the other 4...) and Skoda don't want to give me a replacement car..
  3. My Rs has now 48k km. (30k miles) About 1mouth and a half ago I brought the car to the workshop for servicing. They changed to fuel filter, engine oil and the spark plugs After about 1 week from servicing, it started to get a little uncertain startups .. initially was a problem that I I only self verified when cold .. I did bother at first, but then the problem came up even when warm.. about 1h30 from shutdown. I then decided to bring the car to the workshop also because I was still under warranty. The diagnostics didn’t find any problems. And then gave me back the car saying it was perfect for them. After a few days I again brought the car back. Since that day (October 20) the car has been in their hands. they replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, all injectors, have also cleaned the tank (I had just made the full and € 80 went petrol down the pipe) . They changed all this because they do not know where to look for the problem, the diagnostic does not give any error. They also did tests with various gauges and everything is normal. I asked to change the spark plugs again, but they’re saying that it’s not that the problem Today I went to pick up the car after the defect would not show up for about a week. Retreat at 11 and parked at 11.30 under my house ... I go back to 18:10 and ... (turn the volume up... nor you will not hear the engine trying to start) I’m I the only one with this problem? thanks
  4. Well, if you press che asr button the esp is still there.. If you take of the esp fuse from the fuse box next to the battery, it will shut down the abs too.. I will surly try to take out the 25kg ballast Inviato dal mio GT-I9100 utilizzando Tapatalk
  5. Grip at the front... loose at the back (when you want to) - flat out cornering, yes... kart style an ESP deactivation (without deactivating the ABS too) could do the case too
  6. Let's but aside the dsg for a moment. Handling wise.. The Fabia will never be as good and as fun as the ST?
  7. I'm starting to get bored, probably due to the DSG being so "arcade", there is no feel to it. the fun factor is fading away and I need it!! I would like a have a grin from ear to ear when I drive my car. could some mods give me back the fun factor? is there someone out there the as a tuned fabia and that as tried the fiesta ST??
  8. Hello everyone. The time for my furby rs has come.. I'm at that point where many of you have probably already came through. It's a couple of month that I don't know whether to swap the Fabia or tune it. I have the possibility to get a brand new fiesta ST for about 14k. (giving to the dealer around 6-7k+fabia) There are so many good reviews on the ST (maybe to many???) My Fabia as 3year and 26.000 miles to the clock. Will a tuned Fabia ever be as fun as a Fiesta ST? I was thinking of getting the suspensions upgraded with some h&r springs and koni dampers, central silencer removed, Rarb and a rear lower brace from ultraracing (http://www.ultraracing.my/catalog/index.php?id_product=3188&controller=product) probably I will remap too, but I don't really need more power. I'm afraid of spending money on my actual car and that realise that it will never be as good as the ST. What do you think?
  9. Unfortunatly the weather is not that good this week end. Taking a closer look at the calipers I was to identify the right padre at the front. But I'm not sure forma the rear one. Does anyone have a pic of their rear pads??? Thanks
  10. Probably during this we i'll take down the pads.. I've talked with ebc and they are suggesting me to take the greenstuff. The reds would make to much noise. And would not get to a good operative temp because the car is not that heavy. What to you say? I don't do track days for now
  11. the major difference between trw and ate are the "hooks" left pic is ate and right is trw or

  13. I'm at 25k, the front pads have 2mm left the rears 5-6mm
  14. Yeah, probably the best thing to do is to take out the pads and see how they are.. or may try to call skoda and see if they could help..
  15. I think that redstuff are the ones for me.. Something between green and yellow.. My only doubt is if those p/ns are correct. How to distinguish ate calipers and trw ones?
