  1. Guys if I spec the DCC on the new 1.5 tsi, do I still have to live with the McPherson rear suspension??
  2. What would you guys rate it compared to the standard set if speakers? Is it really 400£ better? I was very pleased with mk2 oem speakers.
  3. Great looking car. If the price stays on pair with the actual one, I'm in both feet.
  4. You ever thought about fitting the alu look mirrors with that configuration of yours. I saw once a white Audi RS Avant with that combo and it looked great.
  5. Every time i say "this is my last black car", tho whole idea of white one just vanishes when I see a beauty like this one. Congrats kitset!
  6. Well I thought so. As i said, I'm living in the "red zone", where the bicycles are faster during the rush hour. I too managed to keep my VRS Tfsi with 250hp well below 7 litres on a long trip, but far from the city, and the highway too. I will do some more research, I'm not in a hurry. Still have sell my present car. Thanks guys for the info.
  7. Impressive. What kind of commuting you do to achieve this results?
  8. 450!? Jeez.. In Croatia we pay less road taxes on diesel, cause the emissions are lower. Now we have the situation where VRS tdi is 2000€ cheaper out of the shop, than the petrol equivalent. Before was the Tfsi was 3000€ cheaper.
  9. I wish it didn't existed. http://prntscr.com/4fwaq1
  10. Guys did you ever considered diesel instead of a petrol? I had petrol VRS mk2 back in time and while it was a great car, the urban consnumption was around 13lit/100km (21.7mls/gal) Most of my riding is downtown, almost 80% of it. Later on i had Passat CC, which I sold when the family become bigger. It was my first diesel + dsg. I really loved it. I was averaging 8.5lit/100km(33mls/gal) in same conditions. That's a huge difference. Now I'm thinking to change my Sportage for the new Octavia Combi. Thing is, I'm torn between the 1.8 4x4 dsg & 2.0tdi 4x4 dsg. I realize that some of you can keep it well below 10lit/100km,but it would be impossible for my commuting. FYI, The price difference in Croatia is 1900£ btw the two. 4x4 is another thing I'm not sure about, but that's another story. Thx in advance for your help.
  11. Hi,im writing you from, still sunny, Split in Croatia. I'am a proud owner of a beautiful Octavia RS Tfsi in race blue colour.I'am 30 years old(feeling much younger tought;)) and beside my gixxer, octavia is one of my hobbies. I found you trough our owner/lover club "Skoda Croatia". I like your site a lot and i hope to improve my knowledge about my car trough your experiences, and to be at some help if needed.
