  1. It's been a good 2 and a half years with my VRS but it's time to move on. Didn't feel a substantial enough difference to decide to fork out more money to upgrade to a Mk3 and the Superb wasn't available. So now have a c250 Sport estate for the next 3 years, have to say the car is lovely and the dealer experience so far is miles ahead of what I experienced with Skoda. In 3 years I may be back.
  2. Should be a fairly good quality VRS TSI hatch, race blue, RPS, Xenons, 3 years old in November coming through the approved used route soon as mine went back today [emoji22] Now just 3 weeks to wait for my c class to arrive. Never missed a beat for me, so if you see a 62 plate reg ending OBB it's likely to be my old one. Just make sure they've replaced the tyres and got the alignment done.
  3. The last petrol mk2s are just coming up to 3 years old so they should start feeding back through soon as their finance agreements end.
  4. Placed order for my new car, unfortunately had to say goodbye to Skoda as the value is not just there anymore. Got a PCP deal on a C250 Sport estate for just marginally more than what a VRS Tdi estate would've been, which made it a no brainer for me. Also felt to sit in there wasn't enough difference between my mk2 and the mk3 to warrant the additional £. Shame I would've had another and would recommend the car, may have been swayed to a Superb 3 but no orders being taken at present and no doubt will be limited deals initially. Just have to wait for factory to schedule the build before getting an idea on delivery, luckily well versed in waiting for build dates from my mk2 experience.
  5. Not a bad addition to the spec at all. Even if it is most likely run out Amundsen models before they're updated.
  6. I specced up (not massively) a VRS TDi estate and through Carwow got a discounted pcp quote. A C250 bluetec sport estate also though Carwow on pcp was cheaper by about £10pm. No contest, the spec was very similar.
  7. That one tempted me to replace my mk2. Still debating on what to do a new VRS is same as a C250 sport estate on finance.
  8. The new VRS is indeed pricy. It's still on my list as an option for replacing my mk2 next year. But seriously considering a c250 as monthly it's the same ballpark.
  9. The adaptor has to go to the left of the venting. I had song titles from my iPhone on my unit. But since then with android. Nexus 4 and s4 I just get BT audio on screen.
  10. Vrs first service today. All very professional, spare screen wash left in car for me. Car cleaned but not a great job (oily finger prints left on bonnet and roof). Also couldn't hear the rattle I reported coming from the engine bay somewhere (got to book in again if it's still there, which it is)
  11. My car is booked in for its first service next week. I identified this rattle soon after getting it and this thread pointed that it was probably nothing to worry about. But time to get it fixed hopefully, listed the symptoms. here's hoping it is this
  12. Meteor grey is already there in the exclusive colour table. Does seem a new colour is on its way
  13. They're all blue, silver or black so doubt you'll get an inspiration.
  14. Of the 2 bid say go white. Race blue looks too like the standard one and the FL. Of all colours of b3 tempted to go meteor grey and if I'm feeling brave the green
