  1. Yes, this is correct. In the vehicle sales info it will say that Skoda Connect service is free for first year.
  2. Hi M5AIO, I also have a radio installation in my Karoq SEL, and can confirm that there is a good grommett behind the battery to go through the bulkhead. I run quite a bit of comms kit in my car, and have an auixilliary battery in the boot with smart charging. This obviouly saves loading the vehicle battery, but as the car (being EURO 6) has a BMS (battery management system), if you pull an unexpected load (e.g. high power tx) from the battery, then you may get a waring on the dash. Here are some images of my installation 😄 Cheers, John (G8SYD)
  3. I have a set of 35mm lowering springs for Skoda Karoq, NU 2017 on... These are made by H&R and have TUV certification approval. I bought them as ex-demo, but they don't really show any signs of having been on a car? I had intended to get them fitted to my Karoq, but haven't got around to it, and am now used to the standard ride height. Looking for around £155 for the set. Collection from Hemel Hempstead, Herts. or SW London. Can send, but need to get the price. PM or Email *****@*****.tld H&R springs 28696-3 for Skoda Karoq H&R sport springsare the ideal solution for the enthusiast who appreciates race-bred components designed for street use. Suspension is one of the most important factors in determining your vehicle’s day-to-day drivability. The first step in suspension tuning is to upgrade your vehicle’s stock springs. Upgrading your suspension components will ensure that your vehicle has improved handling and reduced body roll. H&R springs have superb ride comfort and increased driving convenience. Product Benefits: Sporty appearance Improved handling characteristics Lowered center of gravity Linear or progressive spring design Compatible with OE and aftermarket shock absorbers Powder coated for anhanced appearance and corrosion resistance Delivered with ABE or TUV approval Engineered, manufactured and tested in Germany The secret to such success? To put it simply, the technology H & R employs to develop cutting-edge suspension systems for competition use is the very same used to develop innovative suspension components for street-driven cars. In addition, H & R maintains extensive involvement in several touring car, GT and Monoposto racing series. Not to mention the Formula 1- where each circuit may have its own demanding characteristics. In the harsh environs of competition, H & R is able to test new materials and innovate production technologies. All of which can help racing teams adapt to changing road conditions accurately and efficiently. Simply put, H&R is more than just a suspension manufacturer — it is a company whose core philosophies are innovation, quality and performance. 4. Kust to conbfirm that these are SOLD - collected this morning by Mike. Once again, thanks to everyone for your interest. John.
  5. Provisionally SOLD - will confirm when completed. Thanks everyone for your interest.
  6. Now added photos. Laqueur is a little marked in places, but these are ultra-presentable for use as winter wheels. They are worth £400 and I have the receipt for the tyres from December 2021 and can give exact mileage that they have covered. And, I am included the protective covers for storage. 😃
  7. I have for sale a set of 4 x Skoda Yeti Matterhorn Alloy Wheels, size 7.0J x 17", ET 45 complete with centre caps - these are a really nice style wheel, finished in black gloss/silver and are in good used condition. They are fitted with Nokian WR Snowproof P 215/55 R17 98V XL (Wi) which were bought new on 2nd December 2021 and have done no more than 3000 miles. I had these on my Karoq, but of course they will fit a range of other Skoda models. Only selling as I changed my normal 19" tyres to Michelin Cross Climate all season, as they they needed replacing. I am sure that the set is worth £400 and I will include the storage covers that they are currently in. I can send images of the wheels on request. I am based in HemelHempstead, Hertfordshire. PM (email removed) Thanks, John.
  8. Thinkware has a great range of dash cams in different designs and with various functions, including the T700 with 4G connectivity. I much prefer a dashcam that has an adhesive pad fix to the screen, unlike Nextbase which uses a suction cup fixing. At the end of the day, it's what your preference is 🙂
  9. Yes there is - put your foot hard down on the throttle and it will over-ride the limiter.
  10. I got my Karoq 1.5 SE L TSi DSG at the beginning of October, and was concerned that there was a facelift on the way. But having seen this info, I'm not unhappy, as there is little change to the design or possibly even spec. My car has a lot of options on it, including virtual cockpit, electric driver seat with interior LED pack, winter pack (screen/steering wheel), paddles, 19" Crater wheels, Leather, heated rear seats, towbar prep & rough road package so not a lot wanting anyway 🙂

    Dog Guards

I have always used Travall guards (as a load guard, not dog!) and always found them excellent, in both fit and quality. I have bought one for my new Karoq, but haven't fitted it as yet. I like it that you can still use the load cover and put the seats down with the guard in place.
  12. View Advert Octavia Combi VRs Tailgate Spoiler I bought this spoiler to fit on my 2018 Mk3 Octavia Combi and basically never got round to having it painted and fitted! I am just about to take delivery of a new Karoq, so this spoiler is no logner required. It is supplied in bare plastic, so will need prime and paint. It came from Super Skoda (now Kopacek) when it was easy to buy from them!! (before shipping issues from EU) http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-III/Octavia-III-Combi-roof-spoiler-from-RS-model-original-Skoda-Autoas-product Advertiser JayTee Date 02/10/21 Price £60 Category Parts for Sale Shipping Estimate £15
  13. Update: My Karoq arrived at the dealer this week (Tuesday 28th) and is being delivered to me next Friday. So all in, not too bad a time from order to delivery, eben accounting for delays caused by component shortages. Talking to the sales guy, there are loads of delays in build of all new Skodas now 🤨
  14. I ordered, (through Drive the Deal), a Karoq SE L 1.5TSi DSG with a lot of options (including Virtual Cockpit) around 5th June. Had a message on Monday 6th September from the supplying dealer that the car is built and has left the factory.
