I currently have a L&K KODIAQ (2019) that I thinking of chopping in for an Enyaq. Im looking for a used 80 with the 125kw charging. I'm struggling with specs though... The L&K Kodiaq has everything, plus towbar and acc. I want leather, heated sw and fs, ACC, lane and blind spot and tow bar, electric boot and heated rear seats would also be nice . Any tips on specs...? Heat pumps? Thanks,

Guys, I have a 2019 Skoda Kodiaq L&K 190 TDI DSG with a dealer retro fitted factory electrically swinging tow bar booked to be fitted 5th June. Before lockdown we started looking at twin axle caravans, now i'm a little worried that its too heavy for the Kodiaq. The dealer didnt check anything, just said, oh yes that will be fine, its a big 4x4. The van is a twin axle with ATC but does come in at approx 1725 kg. From my calculation the Kodiaq weighs in at approx 1950kg with driver. This would give a ratio of 88% slightly above the 85% recommended, however the car will always be heavier with other people and luggage and there is a chance that the van could be lighter as the empty weight is approx 1550kg. Any thoughts? Thanks,

Important update. This morning drove to work using lead supplied with phone numerious disconnections, 6 or 7 😢. After getting to work I took the sim out of my mifi and inserted it into the car. I then activated the car as a Wi-Fi hotspot and connected my phone. After work put phone in holder, connected lead and drove home. NO disconnection, 😁😁😁😁 I will try again tomorrow and give update.....

Is there a list anywhere of phones that work faultlessly with android auto... ?

Apparently Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth to support android auto....

Umm me too. Got a 19 reg l&k and a lg g6. Continual random disconnections 😢 I'm think either android auto is buggy rubbish or my lg g6 is.. Also tried other cables. But might try one more, Ideally I'd like a 90 deg one so the slidy panel can close with phone inside.

Umm new car is black with 20" alloys and wonder if anyone's had ceramic coasting. Also thinking about some of those rim protectors... Any recommendations? Ideally Cheltenham area, although happy to drive for a good job. Might also get the yeti done too, that would be paint correction and ceramic as thats black too.... Cheers, Scott

There's a skoda tech on Facebook retro fitting the oem swing down tow bar for £850 🙂 he also does rear camera.

The new hyundai santa fe similar spec to l&k is £44k....😮 I think that drivethedeal might be cheaper as coast2coast have gone up in line with increase, but it seems that dtd now include the additional dealer £500 off from skoda which will make them a bit cheaper.... But the coast2coast dealer is local(ish) is dtd still simpson?

The other thing is I wasnt looking new and my budget isn't 40k however coast2coast and drivethedeal are offering a great deals, carwow and auto ebid not such good deals.

The l&k is a great option for me as front park pan roof camera and canton are std and an edition with these would be almost as much and wouldn't have such a good resale. The dealer has advised me that 40,000 tips the balance.....

Looking at getting a new L&K, however the yr20 model price rises leave me in a dilemma. The L&K 190 tdi is now £40,095 on the road with a P11D price £39,510. The P11D price is the price they use for the over £40k additional car tax for year 2 to 6, If I'm going new I wanted a couple extras, these are now limited to the kids pack and acc. these are £180 and £310. This means the P11D price with these extras would be £40,000. Does anyone know if this will trip the scales, ie is the limit £39,999.99 or £40,000.01. Thanks, Scott
