  1. two RON's eh? So its goodnight from me, and its goodnight from him
  2. The Human Rights act is fine if not abused (mostly by lawyers sniffing a large payday) It sould be there for the benefit of the decent honest hardworking people of the country, who for the most part don't need lawyers every other week. Sadly, as has already been said they are ignored in favour of the scum that plague society, Thats why murderers rapists and child abusers in prison are talking to their cronies on facebook whilst their victims lives are either snuffed out, or destroyed. This is why we can't deport criminals who if they are returned to their homeland they will face the death penalty so they are given a house a pat on the back and told keep your nose clean an we'll give you money. I think there should be a measure, a standard of what constitutes humanity a ceiling and any who go beyond that, premeditated murder, murder in furtherence of another crime, rape, abuse of children shouldnt have the human rights act applied to them and should reap what they sow.I could rant on but i know many will dissagree with me, and thats fine but I feel unless we start to really punish criminals then crime, and legal representation will continue to be the only growth industies in the Disunited Kingdom, formaly known as Great Britain
  3. That is shocking definatly name and shame. its a 10 minuet job the part twists out, and the new one twists in, just like changing a light bulb just move the plastic cover above the pedals, (a few screws) and thats it
  4. Dont think so unless they are knackered theres a guide with pictures in the fabia technical guides forum. Can't remember who did it but he makes it look fairly simple and you probably wont need to do the small bushes on the wisbone itself as I'm told they dont wear out to quickly Hope you fix your creak soon Problem is then you will start to hear all the other fabia squeeks and it will drive you nuts
  5. Rather than replacing each item on a trial and error basis, buy a can of silicone spray and starting with the anti roll bar bushes give them a good dousing. If this stops the squeek (It will be only temporary) you know they are the problem, if not give the console bushes a squirt work through until you find the offending item and replace them hopefully it will save you buying a dogbone mount (like I did) and drop links(like I did) etc. Heck I sound like one of those old women in the mags my mum used to read remove chewing gum with vinigar remove red wine stains with white wine, remove a cat from the sofa with a large stick etc
  6. Your milage is about average for the 1.4 mpi I have the same car and get just over 27 miles per gallon Its and old style engine designed when fuel economy wasn't a big issue as petrol was much cheaper try adjusting your driving style, no fast accelerating etc you may squeeze an extra couple of miles per gallon out of it, or just accept its a greedy sod and learn to love it
  7. Check the pollen filter is secure
  8. Thanks I shall check them now

  13. Hi Guys This may be a dumb question , but is it true that one of the fans on the radiator is for the A.C unit? and if so should it activate when the AC is turned on ? and if it doesn/t does that mean that the Ac is knackered? as mine only works intermitently and how can i test the fan?
