Had full 4-wheel alignment (not just tracking) done on my Octi about a year ago. Cost just over £50, and made a bit of difference to how the car handled (stopped pulling to the left), although the guy doing it did say that there wasn't actually that many bits that could be adjusted - particularly on the rear.

Did they look like this: If so, then they were probably ANPR cameras (reading number plates to check for valid tax & insurance) and not speed cameras.

You guys that have taken, or are taking, advanced driving courses, how did you get on with the no brake/gear overlap aspect? This is the one thing that I am really struggling with. (To such an extent, I may cheat and use my Auto tranny Octi for the test.

17/19 but it would have been 16 if I hadn't known about the Spanish 'Broken down Citröen speed camera trick'

 Hello and Welcome Unfortunately, Government policy (i.e. Speed Cameras & vans everywhere) doesn't allow for 'discretion' or take into account driver skill & observation. Give me real coppers rather than automated roadside cash machines anyday.

The smallest mobile I've found are made by Maxon, either the MX-7922 or MX-C160. The problem is finding anywhere in the UK that actually has any in stock.

Any ex MKII MR2 owners here???
Puddenchucker replied to monkeychild's topic in General Automotive Chat
Owned a UK spec K reg GT. Quite possibly the best car I've ever owned - just needed a bit more poke and air-con. The early (non-cat) 158bhp cars were the fastest N/A versions but the later 154bhp (cat models) had revised suspension, 15" (instead of 14") wheels and power steering with a quicker rack and handled a lot better (early models were a bit prone to spinning). Later 173bhp models, again handled a smidge better, but were no quicker (in fact in the 'real world) they may have actually been a bit slower as all the power was way up the rev range - peak was at about 7000rpm IIRC.
