  1. Some 11.5 years after I sold my Octy vRS, via an Audi S3 and a Mini Cooper, I'll be back in a Skoda.....a growing golden retriever puppy + cat + luggage just won't fit in a mini 😀 So having good memories of my Otcy, off to the dealers I went. I was thinking a Octy vRS estate, but ended up (after nearly going into a hedge in their demo Octy vRS on a corner that was tighter than I thought) going for a Karoq which I'll be picking up this saturday. Can hardly wait!!!
  2. Thanks for the useful info luckypants and cward....just got a new puppy...so needed a new car too 😉 and to protect it as much as possible
  3. A mate of mine has used a 1000d for some landscape shots and said he got some decent shots, so should be good I've had my 350d for 4-5 years and think it's a cracking camera
  4. I got this lens for my cannon when I first got it....really is a cracking lens, specially for the price. Hope to see more quality pics
  5. really like the grey scale pics, very nice must get out and take some myself
  6. I got the Tamron AF28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD instead of the kit lens, takes fantastic pics with my 350d Trouble is it's a bit more than your budget (at about £250) but it is worth the money
  7. Here you go...they're not going to win any awards, but gives you an idea
  8. I've got a Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro lens for my 350D. it got some good reviews and was a good price I haven't used it that much yet, but I can post some pics when I get home if you're interested?
  9. A well deserved fate!! Now to draw and quater it!!! :mischief:
  10. nope....but I don't think armour plated tyres would grip very well
  11. Cool...thanks for all your advice
  12. Can anyone recommend a good quality gauge for measuring tyre pressure? I have an electric pump (no manual labour for me :P ), but I don't trust the accuracy of the digital gauge on it.
  13. I've got yet another puncture so I've no had to replace both rear tyres within a year :( I was wondering if I should just get an identical continental contisports that come on the vRS....or, as the front two have a fair few miles on them and I have a bit of cash , getting a new set of Pirelli P zeros?? Any opinions?
  14. I can't say I've noticed after turning the engine off....may be I just get out of the car too fast
