Hi folks! I have just bought an superb again! Was missing mine ‘03 awx classic and found an ‘04 awx elegance manual at good price. It has xenons, when I switch to high beam (full beam?) the fuse on right high beam blows. Tried to remove halogen h3 bulb, same result, flashing or switching to high beam trips the fuse. Tried 35Amps fuse, same story. Finally managed to disconnect headlight plug on the back and fuse doesn’t blow, I assume this means problem is not in the wiring or switch?. I was wondering how exactly operates the high beam in this headlight? If someone can help or share similar experience before I tear down entire headlight will be great. Greets!

same experience here, speedo shows 5-6 kmh more than speed shown on gps nav (tryed mobile phone gps, garmin & tomtom)

i use about litre+ reaching 15k with oil to the max. (im nervous driver , last week i hit 215 kmh on speedo :p (chuckle) ), i use repsol elite 5w40 tdi Repsol elite 5w40 tdi, also i used before castrol edge 5w40 , should i start using 10w40 ? if yes, when ?

;thanks for the fast replies, i didnt mention my car has 132k kms. so these spills aren't from turbo damage? it consumes the rest of oil of 5 litre tube useed for the change (each 15k kms) i use 5w 40. what chemicals to use to clean intercooler ? it

Hi forum, i notices oil spills coming from air valve (not sure this is the "air valve" sry for bad english) a friend told me that the oil comes from the turbo.. anyone had same problem ?

im experiencing some "bugs", too... my case is , when i stop engine and pull off the key , normally interior lights turn on, but since a month, there is 10-15 sec. delay to lights turn on (if dont open the door). at the same time i cant lock using the remote.. i must wait the same 10-15 secs. after that everything is normal, opening locking via the remote... any idea what can be the prob?

hi, i didnt posted since.. i dont remember :P i own 2003 super 1.9 tdi AWX engine , and manual gearbox, it has 115 000 kms now, i searched onwers manual, also forum, and didt find answer when i must change the oil of the gearbox. as i dont visit Skoda house for oil, filter changes, my friend is mechanic and can do any job on the car ...
