  1. I was insured by More Than for 12 years or so, nothing flash just a bog-standed fully-copm insureance, last year I changed my car from a Faleica to a Roomster3 ex Demo, never checking on the cost as been a customer of long standing I thought I would get a good deal, It was when I received the renewal this June I looked to see the premium---, Ls bells it was over £400 for the year, like a fool a rang them to check the price was correct, saddly the person on the line could not queit understand me with my northen accent,I cancelled the insurance for this year and looked to Saga who do the House insurence, well I now have fully copm insurance with brakedown cover for £245,. So More-Than is not all its cracked up to be, in fact I think they try it on with some trusting customers, and as for changing the spec on a car, who in their right mind is going to put a "V" 8 engin in a small car, may-be Mr Clarkson!! john048
  2. :rofl:I have a Roomy3 and the centre armrest is fitted as standard,if not the cost is£102= + VAT, and yes I did find it hard to use the gear shift and hand-brake, but like most things you get used to it, now I would not be without it as I can lounge about in my Roomy at stop-lights and driving on the Motorways like the BMW and Range Rover crowd, regards John048.
  3. I would like to thank Colin and Tom for all the help they have give me while my car was in the garage, not forgetting Malcolm the boss! and would recomend MSB to anyone, not only for service but for friendlyness of all the staff, once again a big thank you lads.J.P.
  4. I thought the Scout was fitted with a 'Maxi-dot tip computer' my Roomy3 has one and believe me it can be a pest, but on the good side you can carry out your own diagnostics, it give efficent diesel usage in MPG ,plus loads more, I hate to say it but I'm lost without mine,so on balance I would say "Go get one fitted tomorow" john048
  5. I bought an ex demostration Roomer3 great car but have had problems, not with the 'Air-bags' with what I dont know, nether dose Skoda, for some unknown reason as I am driving the computer on board informs me to take the car to the garage the Alternator is wrong, there is nothing amiss with the thing, or I have to return the car to the garage as the 'Muffler' needs attention, theres nothing wronge with it, it will also start flashing the lights, knocking off the power steering, at that I cannot move the wheel, the ABS is not working, I've had the Roomy3, 4 months in that time 'Skoda Road-side assistance' has been out 6 times and its been in the garage 7 times, and we still do not know if its right. The garage has done all it can do, and the help I have recieved from them has been great, they have bent over backwards to help me and I would not hesitate recomending them to anyone, as to my Roomy well it seems to be going well, but I would like to know if anyone has suffered any of these problems, I am not new to Skoda I had my Felicea 11 years without any problems just the usual tyres, battery and muffler john048
  6. Just to say 'Hi', its nice to find other nuts like me who like Skoda:thumbup:
