  1. Sometimes my drivers window loses it's function on the down only. Do the reset and it's fine for a while again. Strange. I just live with it.
  2. Buy the genuine parts from TPS and get a trusted garage to do it. A Skoda dealer will rip you off big time!
  3. Mine has a full size (steel) spare and it sits upside down in the well and the poly insert with brace etc. sits inside it.
  4. 6 hours to change and flush coolant and 850 quid. Holy F! Takes an hour maximum. Ridiculous.
  5. Think it's G12 EVO but believe it's ok to mix.
  6. Silikat bag burst blocking matrix. Replacement the only solution. Plenty info/posts on here.
  7. To be honest they are both useless pieces of crap and wouldn't bother with any of them.
  8. A mate of mine managed to change the heater matrix himself. Said it was a bit of a faff but can be done. Only cost the price of the part so it's not the end of the world.
  9. Mine doesn't work either. I assume the fuse is for that only 'cos everything else works.
  10. I've never bought one or, to my knowledge, been charged for one. I used to know the parts manager in a local dealer and he just bunged it in the oil filter box. You're right about not needing one. My garage of choice never fitted any. Got about three in my garage.
  11. I've always had diesels and the sump plug you get from dealers is metal with captive washer.
  12. Unbelievable some of these prices. I got my clutch replaced, without flywheel, and the gearbox oil changed. Got two litres of oil from Opie oils for £26.00, TPS were £33.00 per litre. Total cost for LUK clutch kit inc. slave cylinder, fitting, and changing the gearbox oil, £380. Didn't take near the 5.5 hours Skoda quote for. Having said that, the local garage I use don't charge VAT but they're the best I've ever used. Quality workmanship. Very lucky. Thank god considering the quoted prices I see here and elsewhere.
  13. Yeah doubt mine will either. Probably new switches required.
  14. Mine is exactly the same. All work one hit except the drivers. I'll have a go at the reset above and keep you posted.
  15. Ridiculous that you should have any fault with the clutch at that low mileage. I replaced the clutch assembly recently on my 2015 2.0tdi due to a low bite point. The car has done 86k and the clutch that came out had minimal wear. The entire cost inc. labour was £380 and didn't take near the 5.5 hours stated. So don't let them swing you with all that nonsense. As said above, get back to the supplying dealer and if they refuse to put it right, threaten with trading standards etc. You can always insist on returning the vehicle for a full refund I believe. Good luck.
