  1. Why did you let them get away with that, looking at the door card, and part from those scratches it looks good…..Personally I would not be too happy!
  2. I don't, but here's a thing. My wireless charger did over heat and I booked it into dealers for check after one year of having my car. I kept checking it up until the day it went in, guess what, it works now. Worked when in Skoda too, not alot I can complain about tbh. It does get warm bur not mad hot and disconnected, as warm as a wireless desk charger say

  4. Yes I did, the adhesive tape as fitted to the diffuser is not that good so I swapped out for a 3M original, still didn't want to work, but my experience of Maxton is that their aftermarket mouldings are not that great. Anyway, there is another issue that I found, and that is, there doesn't appear to be slots on the Maxton to locate the exhaust tip hangers, even if you manage to get the diffuser in place and stuck on, the hangers can't relocate!
  5. I ordered the wireless charger as an option and since day one, as with everybody elses never worked. So when I get around to it will be booking in to dealers to get sorted. I did try last year but as there seemed to be no replacement available didn't follow that through, my car is just over 12 months.
  6. No idea, just mentioned 2 recalls at service, the mat and the engine cover, did the mat, whatever it was they needed to do, and engine cover on back order, just took a couple of weeks, popped in and they fitted it, job done 🙂
  7. All done on mine and engine cover fitted.
  8. So this thread seems to have stalled somewhat as no updates, but guess peeps are waiting on dealers for warranty investigation, so, wading in with potentially on another take on this noise issue. I don’t have what seems to be the same but a noise at the same type of speeds and turning of the steering wheel, mine is mostly low speed, reversing, parking space left or right hand down, and it’s a kind of stretching or winding/pulling sound, as though something is under stress. I will try and do an audio as not so far, as the sound has only just started so thought to involve the Briskoda community for thoughts/input…… Car is, 2023 VRS TSI ChheeRS
  9. Very useful info, this charger is useless, heats the phone up too much which then switches itself off from charging ( i guess to protect the phone) and in my experience the phone actually starts to discharge! So i will be looking to remove and the n use the old fashioned method of plugging in the phone to USB. I'm quite cheesed off actually as the wireless charger was a cost option for me 😡
  10. I have to say I do sympathise with all whom have not received their cars after such a long wait from order, and I have no idea why my car only took less than three months from order to delivery? There were some on this forum who thought the dealer I ordered through was telling me 'porkys' on the delivery but I just let it ride and see what happened. For me I guess I was lucky and I have no complaints, but then I guess I wouldn't. I have owned several VRS and all have been great cars so ordering the MK4 was pretty much a no 'brainer' for me, so I hope all that have ordered with long delivery times get their order soon 🙂
  11. I took delivery this week, looks nice in the sun 🌞 Loving the car 👌
  12. Populate, but maybe it did 🤔
  13. PIcked up my car yesterday took all of 5 mins to set up Skoda connect, swapped out my Superb in the garage, entered new vehicle VIN and it populated straight away, all 👍 Dealer did say that they were aware of some issues but I must just be lucky, now there's a first 😁
  14. Understood, its quite sad when some companies are blinkered to that, to be honest the cars are a tax incentive for the company, the only winners are your employer and the lease company, you are sadly not, BIK to HMRC!. Oh well, hopefully you will get your car soon 😉
