  1. Not sure if anyone has had any luck with your dealer but mine spoke to central sales beginning of Feb, who said the delay is because they had over 15k orders to manually key in because of an error with optional extra codes. They couldn't say where in the queue of these 15k mine was but said once sorted I'll get an update. We were originally told March but obviously not going to happen as can imagine they probably only have 2 people working on this data input. The update from last week was also, no more news and he'll chase in a few weeks again.
  2. Thanks both, we ordered October 14th with similar 19 week lead time. Will check in tomorrow as sales guy is off today and see if he can find anything more out. Glad it's not just me waiting from October.
  3. Has anyone that ordered in October or after had any update about their order? Mine apparently still hasn't been accepted by the factory or so I'm told. Apparently main Skoda sales told the dealer they'll accept in Jan and give me a delivery date but still waiting. Was estimated a March 31st delivery but for that it would surely need to get a build date by the end of this month right?

    New Enyaq

I ordered my IV80 sportline in October and the dealer notified me last week the order still hasn't been accepted by Skoda so they're unaware how long the expected delivery will be. We're hoping it'll at least come before April as expecting another kid and bought it for family trips with 2 car seats. Fingers crossed things pick up soon for builds.
  5. I got a phone call on Monday just to let me know there's no update on my car. However I did only order on the 14th October, so just under 4 weeks ago. The order still hasn't been accepted by Skoda but they said as soon as it does, they'll let me know the build week for next year. We're not in a rush for the car just hoping it arrives before our other little arrival at the end of March/beginning of April.
  6. Thanks for the info. Intelligent tariffs are definitely something I'll be interested in at some point when things normalise again and apparently Hypervolt will be adding this functionality in future. They seem the most on the ball with openness about what's coming and their goals so think I'm going to get that. Also it looks great and will please the wife.
  7. Very useful post, thanks 👍🏼 I've been doing lots of reading and watching and was looking at the Zappi and Hypervolt. Nothing to do with Solar just good feedback. After reading reviews about Hypervolt, I think they're now topping my list as the Facebook user feedback, installer feedback I've seen and responsiveness of their CEO on other forums and FB groups, seems like customer service and constantly developing upgrades are their no 1 priorities. They seem to match up well on price too at around £325 after grant starting price and then installation. Looks like most people are paying between £675 and £900 all in depending on their install needs. I've requested a quote so hopefully they'll contact me in the coming days and put me in touch with their recommended installer for Milton Keynes. The previous owner of my house was an electrician so think he's wired everything up pretty well and had the fuse updated to a 100a when the smart meters were installed. Worst case I think it may need a new consumer unit or updated RCD. Will wait to hear back from an installer and let you know what quote I get. Also I like they have a space grey model coming in December so will be looking at that one for sure as car is likely March delivery anyway so not in a rush.
  8. Thanks all, been doing some watching and looked at the recommended sites
  9. Awesome, sounds similar to my style of charging. Thankfully with the WiFi, just behind the wall it's going, we have a Whole Home WiFi 6 disc so should be strong. I saw some have Ethernet abilities so was thinking I could also make use of the disc to plug directly in to ensure signal is always there. Pod Point is staying on the list as seems to fit the bill mostly. Hopefully some other users can share their recommendations too.
  10. That's extremely helpful! I love to learn from reading but it's totally over my head with this stuff. My dealer didn't really give any advice about it, I just happen to ask if they offer the Skoda IV version yet which they had on a stand next to the Enyaq but they don't. He then said, we just recommend Pod Point. That was all I could get from him. My wife likes the look of the PP and I don't mind it, plus the price is reasonable which helps. I'll have to look into that but in all honesty I don't think I would get solar in the next 4 years while I'm paying off the car so probably not worth choosing one because of it. Thanks for taking the time to come back to me.
  11. Hey all, now that I've ordered an Enyaq I'm looking at chargers and honestly no idea what I'm looking for. If there's a better place to ask, please let me know. Is there really much benefit from one to another other than the ability to use solar? I'm keen to use the smart charging capabilities as heard the Enyaq's scheduling isn't that great. So therefore it'll be one that uses the grant. I had a look on other forums and found a mention about an Indra Smart Pro which is made in the UK but never heard of them before. They claim to be the world's smartest EV charger, which is a big claim! I do like the look of their Smart Pioneer as quite like the EV Energy app which they've partnered with and all the inbuilt protection seems really good. Seems quite expensive though at £845 socket/£945 tethered (think that's what the installer said on the phone). Puts it inline with the Zappi unit. I've also been looking at the PodPoint as seems a popular choice. I don't currently have solar but have it on the future list as a potential investment so think I'd benefit in picking one with the capability. I plan to eventually change tariff next year when energy prices stabilise so quite like the idea of a charger/app that can link with tariffs to auto adjust timing. If there's any good reading you think would help, please point me in the right direction, otherwise hope you can give me some good reviews/recommendations of what you're using. Thanks Alex
  12. It isn't currently due to the time we're in but I like the idea of that kind of tariff which makes the most of "green" energy etc. I feel if I can get a charger that has the ability to base charging off future pricing then it should be future proofed. My current tariff till December is pretty cheap and even Go isn't worth it for me. Yeah I've read a lot of people who switched the to Go tariffs but at 24p peak at the moment, it isn't worth looking at. I'll see what happens when mine is due for renewal in December and likely move to the cap and then leave any fixing till I get the car around March.
  13. Yeah was originally told 24 - 30 weeks on our first visit and then once placed they said the 80 is 19 and 60 is 26 weeks. I'm hoping it'll be here late Feb so we can request a March 1st 22 registration as no point taking a 71 if we're so close to the new plate.
  14. Amazing, thanks for the insight 👍🏼 Does anyone have any thoughts on best or just recommended chargers? PodPoint are recommended by VAG and seems Tesco and Lidl (2 shops we frequent) both also use PP for their chargers but not sure if there's any benefit to that.
  15. Thanks for the advice, I was looking at untethered for that reason and I'm happy to just use the cable that comes with the car. We're probably planning on adding a smaller electric car in future to replace the wifes old Tiguan and if that's different like you say, would mean a different box. I'm currently looking at the PodPoint but was looking at the Ohme Pro for its ability to work with the Octopus agile tariff, however that's tethered. We've got to wait until we get a fixed date to organise the installation anyway so will see what's available then. Thanks
