I believe the Bora is a better fit due to longer boot.  Thats what I had fitted to my octi (although I didn't have tailpipes in view)

Personally I wouldn't. 205/50 is what Skoda fitted as standard (and recommend) however I changed my mk1 octi vrs for 225/45 as you have a much greater choice and better prices.
