  1. I've got the chance of some cheap Mk1 vRS seats and my sons recently bought a "basic" Mk2 Fab and the seats aren't great... Thought if they went in it would look better and hopefully be a bit more supportive
  2. Tried searching but without much luck, just want to know if they go in... If anyone's done it already pics would be a huge bonus.
  3. Black ones are now sold, grey ones on eBay with a bid of £60 so will be going also... Will have the 205 55 16 tyres (one Continental, one Dunlop) with 7mm plus of tread each by the end of the week at a good price...
  4. Will sort some out... Photos added, they all have surface rust and ideally need a repaint One has a slow picture too from the bead, it's not dented so I'm assuming it needs the bead broken, wheel cleaned up and popped back on the rim. If you're just after the wheels then that makes no difference! I was going to paint them skoda green this year but a set of alloys came up at a good price hence the sale.
  5. I have 2 sets of these available and I'm happy to sell with or without tyres Set one is my winters from the last 2 years and are grey with a cream lip (same colour as my BBS alloys) Currently have 205 55 16 Goodyear snow tyres on two of them, and same size normal Goodyear's on the other two, not loads of tread left but still around 3/4mm but I will double check for anyone interested in purchasing with them left on. Set two are still in the factory black colour, 2 have been spares and lived life in the boot, they are shod with pretty much brand new 205 55 16 tyres (good makes - both different brands though), one has a Pirelli with around 3mm of tread left, and the other is without a tyre but I do have one to go on with again around 3mm of tread left. Price wise I'm after £70 a set without the tyres but happy to negotiate a deal with them fitted. I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne but can send via courier or feel free to arrange your own. Any interest before I eBay them??
  6. Thanks chaps, advice and info is much appreciated...
  7. Part number 1J2955325 Will it fit my Mk1 Octavia vRS Got one local and cheap on eBay and mine is really slow now despite giving it plenty of lube!
  8. OK, thanks for the heads up, need to find out the part number and get some ordered....
  9. Do I need them and if so, are they expensive! Part number would be handy if dealer parts only if anyone has it??
  10. Thank you... Why the surcharge?? And how would that work if you bought on-line!
  11. No stretch bolts either - do they normally come with the kit??
  12. Evening All, Need a timing belt fitting so bought the kit but it hasn't a water pump included Loads of options on eBay and Euro Car Parts etc, prices ranging from £20 upwards Anyone bought one from TPS recently, if so how much did you pay? And what about watch outs, anything (pumps) to avoid or be wary of? Thanks in advance...
  13. Had the same issue a while back, it was the wiring to the ecu (just next to the plug). My OBD reader wouldn't connect and I was told VCDS would be the same by a local Audi/VW specialist. The auto electrician who found the break thought it was probably due to when someone had installed my cruise control or LPG conversion, I'm no techy so I assume they must splice into one of the wires or something when installing. Might be worth a look if you've cruise control fitted
