  1. Had this happen to me on MOT lucky the tester send to me if i had 2 blub and put them in he wouldn`t fall it. So had to explain to him about the DRL are the sidelight as they dim it pass in the end but lesson learned for me so now i take it to my dealer for MOT and it pass ever year with no problems
  2. On the vrs with chrome headlight there are 2 H7 blubs main and dip on the vrs/ monte carlo with black headlight there is 1 H7 blub to do main/dip
  3. For a OEM turbo actuator £300 is not to bad as for recommend suppliers i've always used skoda-parts.com for OEM parts as there cheaper then dealer most of the time but you got to walt 10 or so days for delivery. Euro car parts are not to bad on most things and there ebay or go to the original part maker usually they are cheaper then skoda
  4. When I did both my front door wiring looms on my fab MK2 I got new ones from my dealer £190 with VAT for both O/S & N/S looms not to bad really. There was some wiring looms kit's in eBay but they looked a bit cheap to me
  5. Only place I found one for my fabia MK2 vRS was dealer at £390
  6. The fuses you want are 57/58 both 15A in fuse box driver side under steering wheel. But it more likely to be the new headlight switch as they come with front and rear fog lights and the vRS as only rear fogs on the switch remove the new switch and put the old back and see if the headlights works
  7. The downpipe and cat is in one and the only place I could find one was Skoda dealer and it's not cheap £1.250 +vat
  8. Fitted my new steering wheel today it's not a big job to do but you have to take your time with it all the plugs are the same the steering wheel and airbag fit with no problems the steering wheel nut can be reused up to 5 and the taque settings are 30nm+90°.the steering wheel and airbag I used was from a 2019 karoq sportline and the switchs are from a 2013 fabia vrs
  9. The best thing to do is check all the rear suspension system out make sure it all good. The rear storage compartments in the boot can come loose and rattle and there is a vent behind the rear bumper that can come loose and rattle it all so allows water into the boot spare wheel well. The panel gaps look okay to me look about the same as my vRS estate the MK2 is know for not having perfect panel gaps
  10. Looking at the video it could be the sump gasket but the sump are stick on with gasket sealant and toque to 9 nm you are meant to use new bolt in the sump when refitting it but a common fault is a PVC value o-ring leaking or a broken breather hose. The best thing to do is clean up all the oil off get it up to temp and have a good look for the leak
  11. Most likely a broken wire's in loom get a new one there £85 form dealer and 15mins to fit I've replaced both doors in my vRS estate 👍
  12. Yes still got the car The light is clipped to the roof trim by some sliver clips
  13. The only factory fitted rear lights are on car with the factory fitted sun roof like my one
  14. You might as well do it all as it not worth doing just tensioner as you need to take it all apart to get to it
