  1. I have the westfalia detachable fitted, though we are having the dedicated electrics fitted next week, as we have only ever towed a small camping trailer but have now bought a 2007 swift charisma 555. My concern was that the nose weight of these caravans seem a little high, though haven't picked it up yet so can't tell exactly what it is.
  2. Could anyone tell me the Towball limit for a skoda superb tdi cr 170 se, the hatchback, not the combi. Can't find it in the manual and have limited documentation with the car. I believe it may be 80kg is this correct? Thank you all in advance.
  3. 200 bhp remapped tdi quicker to 60 than a standard 260 bhp V6? Looks fake to me. Can't imagine a remap alone on a mapped 170 diesel is going to knock 2.5 seconds of its standard time. More likely 8 secs to 60 after the map.
  4. I run a 12v ignition feed from a spare fuse in the fuse box using a piggy back fuse holder, and spliced into the earth from the lighter socket, though my car is a superb not an octavia
  5. Try giving BG244 a try its apparently a very effective engine cleaner removing carbon deposits and alike helping to sort such issues. Give it a google
  6. How are you calculating these figures? Have you taken them directly from the dash board figures, or actually calculated them from one fill up to the next? I own a CR 170 manual and actual mpg on long runs calculated through road trip on the iPhone is normally around 54 mpg so your figures seem about right. My actual average overall after thousands of miles has been calculated as 44.71 MPG
  7. My 09 plate one was missing as well :( just searched Internet for a while and eventually picked up an original skoda one for £10 from a main dealer selling on eBay keep an eye out and you will find a bargain eventually.
  8. Just completed a 466 mile trip all but 20 miles where motorway. Used shell v-power actual mpg calculated through road trip app on iPhone was 53.19 mpg, not bad for a revo mapped 170 cr IMO.
  9. Im sorry I can't answer your question, however I would like to know where you are selling this as I certainly would be interested. Scrub that I clearly didn't read the full post saying eBay D O H
  10. As above, sounds right to me as well. As I understand it you can get 10-15 mpg more if you were to remove and map out the DPF, but have no personnel experience with this. I own a 2wd manual 170 cr superb. on average i see 46 mpg mixed driving and on a recent 250 mile run on motorways got 58mpg. Getting around 150 miles per quater tank.
  11. Yep! Bought mine down south, not many around then moved up north and have three down my street!! Same when I bought my mk1 fabia vrs, very rare until the word got out.
  12. Contacted revo. They have been great and asked me to return to the original garage for them to take a reading of my ecu and have their diesel guy at revo look over it! Fingers crossed. It may just be me and expecting more from the car, however my last mapped CR diesel albeit a vauxhall didn't have this slow response/ lag. Though reading lots of reviews on the 2.0 170 cr engine it seems it suffers from this slow response but seems remapping sorts this, but not in my case it seems.
