I have a skoda octavia 06 plate, many thanks to this forum for assistance in my abs problem, now I have a new queston a lot of my driving is done at night and I am getting flashed a lot by irate drivers thinking that I have full beams on even though the car is on dipped lights, the light allingment wheel has been in every position but still I get flashed my garage says that there is nothing wrong with the lights is there anyone out there with the same problem.:D

Same fault here ABS/ESP I payed for this as an extra on my 06 octavia. Just been told by Skoda that they will pay 50% which is better than nowt now the only problem is that my garage tells me that there are no pumps in the UK and that they will have to back order them and god knows when it will come in. GREAT

My skoda octavia recently had the esp abs warning light come on and also the warning icon on the dash came on I took it to my local skoda garage where I bought the car from and was told that the ABS /ESP unit needed replacing, the car was 5 months out of warranity but my garage was hopefull of some help from Skoda towards the quoted repair cost of £1400 as yet skoda have said no but as I need the car I have told the garage to go ahead and do the repair and I will try to sort out some assistance from Skoda later I got a phone call yesterday from my garage saying that they cannot get hold of a replacement abs pump bit as there was none available in the UK and they did not know when they are getting some more units sent over to the UK this I feel means that this fault is more common than I first thought of and after looking on the net found that this was the case with a lot of irate skoda owners:so if your esp/abs warning light comes on be prepared for a long wait for areplacement and a large repair bill,my thoughts of another skoda to replace my wifes failing Ford now seem very doubtfull

I have had a report back from my garage about my esp fault and the diagnostic report says 03- brake electronics 1k0907379aa esp front mk60 h130102 coding 19073 in the box below it says 01435 012 brake pressure sensor 1-g201 electrical malfunction in circuit Hopefully this will make sense to someone on this site cos I have not got a clue what they are talking about

Hello im new here and require help with my 006 octavia whilst driving recently my ESP light came on also the dash warning picture came on I took it to the dealers who told me there is a fault with the esp/abs unit and the unit will need to be totally replaced at a cost of £1400 as my car is about 5 months out of warranty I think that this is a bit steep. have any other members had the same problem, the only differance in my driving style is that I now travel from the midlands to the Great Yarmouth area about twice every 10 days. please help £1400 is a lot of money.:eek::eek::eek::eek:
