  1. Tpm was an option I ordered on our yeti on 1st feb but by the time the car arrived at the end of June it was standard and the price had gone up the same amount as the option £100 I think.
  2. Settings exactly as book each key set correctly works of for 2-3 weeks then seems to forget to work with remote the buttons on seat work fine.
  3. Have programmed both keys but the car keeps forgetting the settings did it again this morning due a visit to the dealers I think no good having memory seat the doesn't remember.
  4. Already looking into changing the wheel as with the lever in manual mode the change is the wrong way round for me it should be back for up and forward for down same as the sequential boxes I've used in rally cars.
  5. The golf was really nice to drive but being a GTD the suspension was quite firm and with the big wheels the ride was of the firm side and road noise very noticeable. A beautifully made car with a lots of nice touches but I prefer my yeti.
  6. Hi I like having the auto for most of my driving but its nice to have a bit more control when using manual mode if your on a nice stretch of road. I use the lever in manual mode but the change is the wrong way round for me it should be back for up and forward for down same as the sequential boxes I've used in rally cars. The electric memory seat is useful for us as my wife is a lot shorter than me saves lots of adjustment when changing drivers.
  7. The mpg is about 3-4 mpg less than the trip computer shows we had and Octavia scout 140 tdi before and had expected a slight drop in mpg but its working out a bit better.
  8. Hi we have now had our yeti L&K 170 tdi dsg in Magnetic brown for 3 months and 4000 miles and are really enjoying the car. It was ordered with the following options, 1 Electric memory seat very useful and comfortable (lots of adjustment) but not the easiest to set up with remote to get mirrors and seat all working much easier in my jeep. 2 Heated washer jets should have be standard on L&k I think. 3 Rear mud flaps only £20 so why not. 4 Tyre pressure monitor but this became standard during the wait for the car. Thing I wish I had ordered the stainless pedals but already changed and cheaper than getting them factory fitted . The car took 4 and a half months from order and looked great when we collected it the magnetic brown looks great and goes well with the brown leather which nearly everybody who has seen the car likes. I have been surprised how well the car handles much better than I expected having had lots of performance cars before its nice to have a car that can still be fun to drive when you want. It has averaged about 44 mpg mostly country road driving by my wife to work and back and has been as high as 50 on longer runs when not in a hurry, it has also been much lower when I have had the car to my self. The good points The 170 tdi and dsg box only wish it had steering wheel paddles. The panoramic roof nice and bright inside and we have had lots of nice sunny weather to use it. The head lights are really good and the cornering function surprisingly good. The comfort and seating position helped by the electric seat. The bad points The Columbus sat nav seems a bit complicated at times not easy to use on the move. The boot size but can hold more than you imagine. The L&K carpets with brown stitching is just a set of mats. I have had to reset the memory seat and mirrors a couple of times as it seems to forget occasionally. I had a visit from a friend a couple of days ago with a golf GTD got at the same time as the yeti. I had a good drive in the golf the performance very similar the golf handles a bit better but has much more road noise and no where near as nice as the yeti on rough roads. The biggest surprise was the lights on the golf nowhere near as good as the yeti lights for a similar setup. So after 3 months we are really happy with the car and look forward to many more miles happy driving.

    Another feature

Haven't noticed on the yeti but our old Octavia scout was the same Vw tourans as well my brother in law spent ages one night trying to get them working on his touran he gave me a ring for ideas asked him if bonnet was up, it was shut bonnet problem solved.
  10. Hi we have had our L&K for 3 weeks now we went for magnetic brown as we thought it would be a good match for the leather. A few people we told about the spec of the car before we got it didn't like the brown leather but so far everybody who has seen the car since we got it like the interior. When we ordered it I was not sure what to think of the brown leather but was pleasantly surprised when the car arrived, also ordered the electric memory seat witch give much more adjustment then the manual seat.
  11. Hi I had a look at that thread but still have the same issue might be a visit to dealer to check.
  12. Hi I'm having problems with setting memory seat and mirrors on our 2014 yeti been over the manual a few times. The problem is I've set memory 1 for my wife and memory 2 for me. The seat and mirrors move with the memory button on the seat but only the seat moves with the remotes The manual says the setting should be remembered with the keys when you lock the car. Any ideas Thanks
  13. Picked up Yeti on Monday ordered on 1st Feb an Outdoor L&K 170 tdi dsg in magnetic brown. Only had a fairy short drive in it so far but very impressed much more refined than our old Octavia scout.
  14. Went to see yeti today collecting tomorrow afternoon the car looks great a Outdoor L&K 170 tdi dsg in magnetic brown.
  15. Went to look at mine at the dealer today still covered in the protective covers but colour looked great in the sunshine. Just waiting to find out when I can collect it.
